FUCK. So I can't use this?

And I was looking forward to getting on my one-deck setup and slapping a copy of this on there to get the hip kids bopping at the local hot spot! :(

The worlds gone mad - a DJ Mix competition in which you cant use decks?
D (Disc) J (Jockey)

Save the vinyl :)

Good luck to the studio engineers who make the winning mix - is there anywhere I can still play flat black pieces of vinyl anymore? I like the feel of it under my fingers ...

For those vinyl purists, surely you can just record from your decks onto a lap top containing an Intel processor. That way you still meet the requirements.

That sounds like picking your nose with a rubber glove :)
Tis a great comp for the techno savvy and a great prize no doubt
but not a DJ mix competition - VJ maybe. Engineer maybe, Studio boffin fer sure ...

DJ ing is a dying art u know

but not a DJ mix competition

The comp is CALLED "Laptop Battle". Seems fairly unambiguous.

Doesn't matter what you mix on if you record it on a PC with an Intel processor, surely ? ;o)

So I can't enter just because i've got an AMD processor? unless i buy a new laptop with an intel one? hmmm, i doubt i'll do that to be honest. shame because it sounds like fun, but i'm going to glastonbury that day anyway! :P

Its impossible to upload your mix. current it says...

Error:Maximum upload size exceeded Please stop transfer max file is: 15000Kb

Either thats wrong or they want a 15meg mix file which is way too small, I have a mix which is 136meg which I would have thought would be fine.

Can some help or fix the website.
