2010 was a defining year for SW4. For the first time, we took over Clapham Common for a whole weekend. The likes of Fatboy Slim, Armin Van Buuren, Carl Cox, Boys Noize, Andy C and Skream & Benga cemented South West Four as the UK’s premier inner-city festival. A prime showcase of the best dance talent, we return – literally bigger, better and louder! It’s the Bank Holiday date of Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th August, where the clubbing fraternity will once again congregate al fresco. There is simply no better way to end the summer...

For nine years, Pendulum have fused ideas from a plethora of musical genres. With gigs on all six continents, the trio understandably caught the ‘Blightly’ bug – now calling London home. 2005 saw debut album ‘Hold Your Colour’ storm the charts, following up with ‘In Silico’ and latest offering ‘Immersion’, all equally as devastating. Pendulum’s main draw is their live show. Jaw dropping manipulation of beats, which became folklore of Glastonbury, Creamfields, Leeds, Reading and ‘T in the Park.’ However, last year’s performance alongside Prodigy at MK Bowl – superseded all that went before. Pure genius that succeeded in uniting all EDM lovers as one. Continuing the trail of destruction, 2010 saw the acclaimed ‘Immersions’ tour sell out Wembley Arena, pushing production and visual boundaries. This success led to plans for an upcoming tour Stateside, with none other than Linkin Park. For their ONLY London show this year, Pendulum close the South West Four Weekender, one of the most sought after slots in festival land….

After pioneering the dubstep sound from their Big Apple Records HQ in Croydon, Skream, Benga and Artwork formed Magnetic Man. As with many a superhero, their lair no longer exists. But the trio have moved onto bigger conquests, creating an inimitable dark and bassy sound that has rumbled its way to core gigs worldwide. Having played Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds and Manchester’s Parklife last year, they were handpicked by Deadmau5 to support his sell out UK tour – with mind bending shows in Glasgow, Manchester, Coventry and London’s Earls Court. Studio wise, Magnetic Man are a dominant force. Debut release ‘I Need Air’ was followed up by massive collaborations with Katy B, Ms Dynamite and John Legend – affirming their creative nous and versatility. With October’s debut album released to rave reviews, they have earned a reputation amongst the production elite. With ongoing support from names such as Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Mistajam and Pete Tong, Magnetic Man’s live show is simply devastating. Set to destroy SW4 2011 with their brand of mutant basslines, don’t miss the magnificent Magnetic Man as they blow up our Main Stage this summer.

“We have seen the support bill for the festival and it's absolutely massive. Can't wait to play this event!” Rob Swire (Pendulum)

“SW4 is an important gig for us! It’s on our home turf, the atmosphere is always incredible and we can get a taxi home at the end. We can’t wait to tear it up in front of our friends and family. This will also be the only chance to catch us in the great outdoors, in the capital this year. So it’s going to be very special indeed - see you there!” (Skream)
