Music : Tech House, Trance, Funky Techno, Acid Techno and Electro Techno
How do you follow Psy Trance? With something completely different of course. Ignoring Eminem for a moment, because people do actually listen to techno, lots of people in fact and they love it. Especially when Zoology dishes it out. This month it won’t be pure Techno there will all kinds of Techy business but at the heart of it all will be driving drums and percussion and noises that make your brain go funny. We’ve enlisted a fine selection of DJs who have all done the business at Zoology before. First up is London Techno Legend DDR who after his classic Acid set in December returns to deliver some more upfront live sounds. Skelp needs no introduction to Zoology regulars as he is almost part of the furniture at Zoo. Albeit furniture you have to fly down from Scotland if you want to sit on it… Weird analogy that one. Skelp will also be playing the first set at Zoo2 so double the Caledonian madness. Our final guest is Anita who having already played for Zoology & Zoo2 is no stranger to the sound of Zoology. We’ll have residents Markus Buhmann, Latex Zebra, B.S.E all doing their thing and Jim Wild doing a Dub Step warm up as well. See you there! Zoology Techno Club 414, Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, SW9 Friday 1st May 2009 10pm till 6am – Zoo2 follows till 10am £10 All Night £8 Paying Guest list £5 – between 5am and 7am £8 After 7am Email latexzebra@hotmail.com for concessions DJs DDR Live Skelp Anita B.S.E Jim Wild – Dub Step Warm Up Markus Buhmann Latex Zebra
