His production has recieved support from a number of top DJ's and his filthy, wonky DJ set have become legendary in the north at various clubs including Mint club, Mission and AREA51. This month Eddie heads to London to show how the north party..........

Ladies, gentleman, friend and fiends, welcome all one and all to twisted world of Maximal! On Friday 9th May, London’s hottest club night returns and this time it’s about to get filthy as we present to you the main man behind the northern cult sensation Filth Mr Eddie Zanetti!

Tell us what’s new in the world of Eddie Zanetti?

Just cracking on with things as usual really, getting signed to plasmapool was a big boost, big up Miles Dyson

What have you been up to recently in Leeds and further a field ?

since christmas i have beeen working very hard on new productions under the alias "bombermen" it has beeen going very well with a great responce, iam learning different things everyday on the production front which i enjoy a great deal.

Your set to make your London Debut at Maximal on 9th May. What can we expect?

i have never been out in Londan before, iam aware of the considerable talent of djs down there already for example ed kane , gareth wilde etc that play a similar genre. i hope to add a bit of spice to the electro scene in london.

What do you think of the UK scene at the moment?

i really could nt coment for the whole of the uk as i only play in certain areas however iam very pleased with the the progres of the wonky electro sound throughout the uk.

How would you describe the Leeds scene to London?

as i have never expeirienced the london scene before i really could nt comment on that. however i have heard exellent reports from various other well resected djs throghout the uk. the leeds scene however is in a world of its own from the point of view of loyalty and love for the music week in week out , it really is class.

What`s your favorite club to play in (and why)?

mint club in leeds at the moment due to the sheer class of the sound system and amazing crowd that come to filth where i am a resident.

If you could only play one more club ever, what club would it be and what other DJs would be playing?

it would have to be ministry of sound in london, with myself, jim morrision, elvis & bob marley id show them how we party in 2008 !!!

Your quite new to the scene but are already making a huge impact. What got you interested in dance music ?

my older brother to begin with.i used to steal his greame park and laurent garnier cassettes out of his car, since then i had my heart set on getting decks and getting other people on my sick level musically.

What do you prefer (producing or DJ``ing)?

djin without a shadow of a doubt

What do you like to do away from dance music?

spending quality time with my friends and family and generally having a brilliant time.

What have you got coming up in the future?

at the moment looking to the future, myself and my good friend and house mate Keiren Armatage have recently been signed to miles dysons plasmapool label and have new relaeases on our productions forthcoming on this lable , watch this space
