RONSKI SPEED (EUPHONIC)
German DJ and producer: Ronski Speed, has created some of the most in demand tracks and remixes of the past few years. His records “The Space we Are” & “The Perspective Space” with Rex Mundi, “Incognition” with Stoneface & Terminal, “I'm Alone” with Sun Decade, “E.O.S”, “Asarja” with Mirco De Govia and the “All The Way” with singer Aruna were genuine club smasher and hammered by the likes of Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Above & Beyond and Ferry Corsten.
Starting his musical career in 1997, Ronski Speed (Ronny Schneider) became quickly a part of the brand new label Euphonic (based in Loebau in eastern germany) as an artist, A&R and friend.
2000: He kicked off with a remix of the now legendary “Glass Garden” by Sonorous, which became a massive club hit. His project Barefoot Brains released the Remedy/Poison EP in UK.
2001: Ronski co-produced Mirco De Govia including the tracks “Epic Monolith” (entering the UK sales charts) & “Things That Matter” along with Mirco's remix work which has included Ralphie B's “Massive” and Lasgo's “Something” (UK Top 10). The Ronski Speed remix of Kyau vs. Alberts “Outside” was released on Wea/Club Culture records and entered the German sales charts.
In 2002 Ronski wrote and remixed the singles “Second Sun” and “Protonic” for Sonorous, which became favourites of Tiesto (Top Tune in DJ-Mag), Above & Beyond, Armin Van Buuren and Ferry Corsten. Furthermore he started the project Sun Decade along with singer Devia Lea. The first release was the legendary “I'm Alone”, which also became a massive club hit and was hammered by Paul Van Dyk for more than a half year.
2003: “I'm Alone” of Sun Decade was re-released in the UK and Ronski delivered a series of quality remixes, including : Binary Finary's legendary “1998”, Goldenscan's massive “Sunrise”, Aly & Fila's epic “Eye of Horus” and Miro's classic “By You Side”. His first solo single “Iris” became a massive club hit which was played by the big names and picked up by Paul van Dyk for his Mix-Mag Compilation. Together with Mirco De Govia he finished some tracks for the “Chronoscale” album and the massive Mirco De Govia remix for Kyau vs. Alberts “Velvet Morning” (which was also signed to Above & Beyond's label, Anjunabeats). At this time Ronski began focusing more on his DJ career and starts his own first radio shows on Di.FM and many other stations.
In 2004 the record “E.O.S” was released on Euphonic and ATCR in UK. Ronski remixed Armin Van Buuren, Tatana and Rusch & Murray for Anjunabeats - all these mixes helped him to define his own unique sound. Sun Decade's second single “Follow You” appears on his DJ mix compilation Positive Ways 3 showcasing Ronski's deck-side abilities between Progressive and Trance. During this year, he toured through the UK, USA, Germany, Holland, Russia, Scandinavia and Switzerland while also entering the 2004 DJ Mag Top 100 for the first time at number 83.
2005: Started off with a collaboration with Mirco De Govia: “Asarja”, followed by the “2Day EP” and “Sole Survivor” (a collaboration between Ronski and Sebastian Sand). The track “Incognition”, with Stoneface & Terminal followed and became one of the most in-demand progressive trance tunes of 2005. This track made it on every playlist while PvD featured the track on his DJ-Mag Mix CD. Ronski Speed performed in the UK for Gatecrasher, Passion and Wildchild and toured in the USA, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Canada, Russia, Holland, Switzerland, Scandinavia and of course in his home country Germany, where he was playing at Europe's biggest open air Festival Nature One at the main stage. In March 2005 Ronski Speed performed at the Love Parade Mexico in Acapulco. Furthermore he mixed and compiled the official Love Parade compilation. In November the worldwide release of his 3rd Mix CD Monsterseries Vol.1 proves his talent and skill in choosing the right tracks at the right time. As a result of this, Ronski Speed stayed in DJ Mag top list at #119.
In 2006 Ronski remixed Above & Beyond, Luminary ft. Ashley Tomberlin, Tatana, Carl B and brought the 3rd Sun Decade single. In UK the remixes of “Incognition” were re-released and the new single “The Space We Are” was kicking up the playlists of all the big names like Judge Jules, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz. Ronski played for the first time in China, Bangkok, Hongkong and headlined nights at Spundae Los Angeles, 1015 in San Francisco and Turnmills in London. In October Ronski Speed returned on #87 at the 2006 DJ Mag Top100!
2007: The year started with Ronski’s massive remixes for DT 8 Project, ATB and Heather Nova. Euphonic celebrates its 10th anniversary with the release of Sun Decade's “I'm Alone” in a stunning Stoneface & Terminal Remix and the mash-up “E.O.S. vs. Satellite” between Ronski Speed and Above & Beyond's side-project Oceanlab. A special 10 years Euphonic mix-compilation, mixed by Ronski Speed and Kyau & Albert, accomplished the celebrations. The Singles “Soulseeker” with Stoneface & Terminal, “Stormbound” under the guise RST and “Love All The Pain Away” with dutch singer Julie Scott were released and supported by all the top dj's like Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz and Paul Van Dyk who played the Kyau & Albert remix in almost every set. Markus Schulz mashed up another track of Ronski Speed with Rex Mundi's “Perspective”. The result: 'The Perspective Space' became a genuine Club Tool and was hammered by Carl Cox, Armin Van Buuren, Gabriel & Dresden, Paul Oakenfold and Above & Beyond. Because of the huge demand, Armin Van Buuren's Label Armada picked up this massive tune and released it in January 2008 as Ronski Speed vs. Rex Mundi “The Perspective Space”.As DJ Ronski was experiencing new places in the world like Turkey, Estonia, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia and he played again for known brands like Singapore's Zouk club, Stockholm's Monday Bar, the Dopler club in Bratislava, Ministry of Sound in Taipeh and New York's Webster Hall. Finally he climbed up to the 44th position on the DJ Mag Top 100.
2008: The year began with a huge NYE gig in the Ludowa Hall in Wroclaw followed by gig's in San Francisco and Washington, furthermore new countries like Argentina, Indonesia, Moldavia, Domenican Republic and Japan. After the great success of the “The Perspective Space” release and a new remix for Markus Schulz and Andy Moor's “Daydream” Ronski released in April 'all the way' with us singer Aruna and is now focusing his work on the first artist album…
VICKY DEVINE (JUDGEMENT SUNDAYS)
Vicky has been involved in music in some capacity throughout most of her life. Reaching Grade 6 in Piano, playing classical guitar and being a member of a singing group throughout her school life, she was quickly enticed into the dance music world at the age of 18 and has worked within the industry ever since!!! Beginning as a club reviewer and interviewer for Dream and Eternity magazines, she then went on to dance on stage and work in various promotional roles for a number of UK based events. There was always a DJ inside though and she was soon behind the decks spending hours after college learning how to mix. This coupled with her passion for music, endless enthusiasm and perseverance has helped build her career and has made her one of the most promising female DJ’s and producers in the current dance music scene. As a result Vicky has gone on to wow fans in the UK, and indeed around the world with a reputation built on her uplifting yet driving trance sets – although versatile Vicky is just as recognised for her house sets as well these days. Playing at numerous nights in the UK including Gatecrasher, The Gallery (Turnmills), Pams House (Norwich), Slinky (Westfest Festival), Escape (Swansea), Passion (Coalville), Tranzaction and on a worldwide level including on the SLINKY Asia tour in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, the SMIRNOFF EXPERIENCE tour in India and at clubs in Canada, South America, Mexico, Indonesia, Malaysia, Dubai, Australia and New Zealand to name but a few. Her dedication to the scene and her performances worldwide have not gone un-noticed, and in 2009 Vicky was voted 5th in the Best Residents Category in the well respected Trance Awards Poll.
Over the years Vicky has been a regular guest at many top nights in Ibiza and this eventually led to her gaining a weekly main room residency at Judge Jules’s massive JUDGEMENT SUNDAYS night at Eden (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008). Playing both the warm up and close down sets at the busiest night in San Antonio has meant her playing regularly alongside many of the leading names in todays trance scene including Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, Sander Van Doorn, Marco V, Ferry Corston, Richard Durand, Marcel Woods and Matt Hardwick. Not forgetting also Vicky’s other huge summer weekly residency at Majorca’s superclub BCM for her own night – “Angels of Funk”. This has now been running for five years and has made Vicky the first ever female DJ to hold a long standing residency at this incredible club. In addition Vicky is the main resident DJ and promoter of the most successful all female DJ event to date – “Charlys Angelz”. This has completed eight successful years out in Ibiza at which Vicky has played each and every one! Both her Angels of Funk Brand and her Charlys Angelz brand have been involved in numerous tours throughout the UK and indeed the world. More recently Angels of Funk joined forces with Dirty Little Funkers and there are tour nights for all the brands over the coming months in addition to another jam packed summer in Ibiza, Majorca and Tenerife.
