Sickos!, dunno if all of you knew, but after the success of our first Sick!, QX magazine came down to see what all the fuss was about and did a review of our night as well as taking some seriously dodgy pics of some of us! The article is too long to write up on here so i recommend buying a copy to have a look, if anything, just to see my worryingly erect nipples! Here's a few of the best bits:

To be getting these sort of comments and this sort of recognition after only our 2nd ever event, i reckon is pretty amazing. We even found out that Scratch Perverts had heard about our little shindig, through the grapevine and might be coming down!! How awesome is that! Although we probably would have had to turn them away as we were over capacity!!

We are really grateful to you guys who come down with no inhibitions and no pretences which creates this wkd atmosphere each time...we really do have the funkiest party animals in town!

I'm gonna HAVE to make it back to the UK from France on the 28th to make it to Sick! It's as simple as that. And guys, if you choose your venues with care you could reach a very large audience indeed. If you move your night to, hmmmm, let's say the function rooms at The Botanical Gardens in Regents Park you might make it into "Country Living" next! ;o)

Sunday saw us at the opposite side of town in Muswell Hill at U Wish! for a twelve hour marathon of dirty twisted funky house and filthy electro at Sick! On The Dancefloor.

Billed as an all day afterparty, Sick! is a relatively new night that is fast building a reputation as THE place to be on Sunday night. The fact that the club is in the basement gives it a cool, underground vibe – you kind of feel like you’re privy to a best-kept secret. The crowd is mixed, but don’t let that put you off. Gay boys and straight boys dance shoulder to shoulder and there is absolutely no attitude. We saw boyfriends snogging on the dancefloor and nobody batted an eyelid - polysexual partying at its best.

The Sick! DJs are Timmy J, Paul KC and Andy Burby. The sound is fierce and funky, building from vocal house to pumping electro as the party progresses. The DJs mix and match, playing individual sets and then back-to-back.

The club is small and intimate with ample seating, huge leather sofas, perfect for chilling out. The sound system is top notch and for the die-hard ravers, there’s a laser. Drinks are well priced and the staff are extremely friendly.

Sick! runs from 3pm ‘til 3am. Check it out.
