ok, im gonna say my bit on this....iv known micky only dsi, but iv always got time for him, and being an ex promoter myself i know how hard it is when youve entered into something with so called "partners"..... " i,ll meet you at the venue and help with setting up"...... you end up doing it urself, spending all day in there kitting the place out, with no food or drink.... then at the end ov the nite theyre that pissed you wouldnt want em glass collecting never mind moving deks n speakers, and lites etc......then when at your house l8r and youve counted the money, they ask for theyre share !!!!!!!! for wat????? as for the trying to talk to someone while theyre playing is beyond me...to be honest, id look at ya, and that,d be all ud get from me......
ok you feel hard dun by, but open threads isnt the way to do it is it........ iv promoted nites myself and have run around like a headless chicken for most ov the nite, and when ppl try to talk to you all your thinking ov is how to get everyone sorted......... iv had very good friends turn on me when we didnt do well, and iv offered to pay them in a week or two when iv got the money but theyve turned round and slated me..... then you hear ov them playing for half ov wat they charged you for someone they dont even no or ever met b4......... what youve dun here is make yourself look bad./...... as a promoter its horrible when things dont go according to plan... i think if youd beared with micky it could ov been sorted out, but to be honest i think uv got no chance now.......

This should have been dealt with in a professional matter, (private email to Star) its not right to go on such a big network as DSI and start slate-ing people about their night on a public forum.... all promotions have there good and bad days.....

I understand you feel totally hard done by Funky Diva, but i think you should totally remove this thread as its allready caused a lot of damage.... and that enough is compensation for you loss, last night.....

Calling her names, basically saying she is easy and saying she is a bad dancer is childish. Grow up for gods sake and sort it out like adults. to be honest though, if I was a promoter and I'd had this happen to me I would have reacted the same as Mickey has - if someone makes a personal attack on your integrity then you're gonna bite back.

I think this thread should be pulled and any further discussions should be private between the two involved

If a dancer has been promised a fee then they should be paid that, it is not the dancer's fault if the night doesn't go well. I'm not siding with anyone, but the comment that someone made about her 'clearly being new to the scene' is totally unfair - dancers/DJs etc don't make money

If she wasnt new to the scene she wouldnt of made a big song and dance about this, i have done many things and not been payed a penny but do i go makin slaggin threads about it?
