It’s a new year and a fresh start for DDD. Last year saw them bid farewell to their initial home at the Key and reach a milestone of 5 years of parties. Always a party to experiment with genres and bring diverse acts together into a full-on party atmosphere this year they look set to build on that further and welcome all to join.

February 2nd will bring them to a new venue in Shoreditch, Cordy House, an intimate venue with roof terraces and many realms to explore. Bringing the beats is Daniel Stefanik who has won the hearts of the big names of dance, his productions a staple in the bags of Villalobos and the like and now springing up outside of his home label, Moon Harbour as the World each wants a taste of his sound.

French duo Chateau Flight have two albums under their belt that have each had the dance music World marveling at their ability to produce eclectic, up-beat and inticate music that is unmatched by any other.

One thing that hasn’t changed for DDD since their beginnings is their unfailing residents. Simon Baker discovered his true sound at DDD and has since gone on to start Infant Records, released on seminal labels such as Playhouse and has forthcoming output on Leftroom. Simon Morell is responsible for bringing DDD to where it is today as resident and co-promoter.

Room 2 is hosted by Phonica Records, the only record shop that is worth visiting in London and responsible for putting many producers and DJs on the right track. Simon Rigg is joined by Ryan Shaw (still a resident and adding a kick to the DDD parties) and Skull Juice, named as best new artists of 2007 by Time Out and generating support from masses and superstars such as Erol Alkan and MSTRKRFT.
