About Corisca Studios
Corsica Studios is an independent arts organisation that sets up and develops creative spaces in areas of London. Over the last 7 years we have created a new type of independent art organisation that places a wide range of media activities within alternative spaces. Our reputation has been built by establishing creative platforms for the arts in areas of regeneration deliberately utilising buildings that were standing empty and unused.
Our new space is located in The Elephant & Castle, an area which is undergoing an enormous regeneration programme and is to be established as an up-coming centre for Creativity and Culture. We are developing our premises into a facility that offers a flexible, high-quality environment for both the production and creation of fine art, music, film and digital media and, simultaneously, a professional multi-purpose venue that is fully-equipped for exhibitions, live performances, film screenings and private functions. This ability to produce work in one part of the studios and exhibit, screen and perform in another makes us a unique creative complex. As artists ourselves we are fully aware of the requirements of other creative professionals and we have established our space to meet their, and our own, high standards.
Corsica Studios is a not-for-profit Company Limited by Guarantee and has both strong artistic and social aims. Through our partnerships, work with local organisations and training programmes we are active within the local community and are committed to realising our belief that art has an important role to play within the regeneration process.

Find Corsica Studios
Corsica Studios is located just two minute's walk from The Elephant and Castle Underground which is served by the Bakerloo and Northern lines . However, the Elephant and Castle subway system is notoriously complicated so please follow these directions if you are unfamiliar with the area.
If arriving by tube follow the signs for the Shopping Centre exit. On passing through the ticket barriers take the ramp to your left which heads up in to the shopping centre. Once inside, walk straight past the escalators and cafe area and through the exit doors ahead of you. Pass straight through the Thameslink ticket area, through the exit and turn right on to Elephant Road. Corsica Studios is 50m further down the road on your right hand side. This may sound complicated but it is the simplest way to get here if arriving by tube.
The Thameslink overground Line also serves the Elephant and Castle, with a frequent, reliable service to many destinations between Bedford, Luton, St. Albans and Brighton. It also offers a convenient interchange route with mainline services arriving at Kings Cross.
If driving, please ensure that you enter Elephant Road from the south roundabout or Walworth Road approach. We have a limited number of private parking spaces for clients if required and there is also an NCP car park less than 1 minute's walk away.
Numerous Bus services also serve the area nearby.
