Another Success for ES!
Another great event put on by two very hard working boys!

I was working on the door all night taking regular trips to walk around the venue to nose around.

The atmosphere at the event reminded me of a big house party. The odd layout of the venue adds to the fun of the night and the Cocktail bar is a great bonus...I wish more clubs had one!! Drinks prices were great!

The crowd at ES are always really nice and I love meeting and chatting to the DJs at the door as none of them ever walk in like they are gods gift to djing and are all really friendly.

Special mention to the staff at the venue. I have NEVER met any bouncers as nice as the ones at Corsica and the manager treated everyone really well. A great relaxed atmosphere comes partly from good staff and your greeting at the door and this is something they have down to a T there.

Ross and Gregg continue to impress me with their great line ups and hard work. It is obvious they are in this for the love of the music and I hope this party continues to grow.

If you haven't been already then I'd advise getting to the next one and if you are a regular then help out and spread the word. Too many good nights like this fail without the support of others and I for one want to see this one take over the Trance world!!

...........and to think i never really liked Trance before!!

What a f*cking brilliant night!

Coming from France by coach (wtf?), i was quite tired when i came to the Corsica Studios... With some of my fellow french tranceaddicts, we did more than 20 hours of tube, coach, train or plain ^^

And what a night my friends! The venue is quite strange, with these walls and doors wich are looking like a flat! It remembered me the future stage at the Trance Energy (Funktion One sound, small stage)

We spent 5 small minutes in the house stage, Jonas has already started

Average set from Jonas, he's quite far from what he was playing a year ago, he played a lot of electro and tech trance tracks before ending on his Second Turn... Was a bit dissapointed

Leon Bolier was great, a was a bit afraid of what he could play cause he usually play some hard records. But what a great set my friends! Starting with his remix of a Coldplay track, he drop a lot of awesome tunes, like As The Rush Comes (gave me chills while singing it), Way Out West - The Fall (Richard Durand Remix) and Signal runners - aria epica (bart claessen remix) and Joop - The Future I didn't catch the whole set cause i was busy chatting with Paul Moelands and Jonas (about parties and beers) and having my collection of records signed by them :)

Then Super8 and Tab did the best job of the night! For having seen them last year, i wasn't hoping an insane set... Shame on me, their set really blasted the whole room! A part from 1 big trainwreck, they have good skills in mixing, and the tracks they played were amazing! This is Trance, and that's why i'm travelling 1000+ kilometers for one party! Plus they were enjoying the sound with the crowd, that was soooooo great! For example when they cut the sound on madagascar, and they said "Whaaaaaaat?" My Friend shouting "Pam pam pam pam pam pam pam", was very funny !

Re:locate was the one for who i was here! I love what he's spinning, some real Trance with rough energy! I was very tired but i kept my hands in the air and my legs were jumping for another hour! Awesome set, really!

After that we left the party to go back to france, but i stopped on the floor when hearing the Perasma - Swing to Harmony and i went nuts another time!

So what to say :

great (small) party, was really enjoying the feeling of the people there!
really great sets
Loving Funktion One Speakers, although the bass were sometimes too loud
way toooooooo hot room, i lost 6 kilos on saturday ^^

Sorry of we made too much noise, but we were like crazy, shouting on tunes and jumping on rough records!

We'll be back for sure, Electronic Sessions rocks my friends!

Anyway, there is the small tracklist we managed to do :

Jonas Steur :

Prodigy - Smack my ***** up (The thrillseekers remix)
Re:locate vs Steur - Nasty (electric mix)
Jonas Steur - Second Turn

Leon Bolier :

Coldplay - X&Y (Leon Bolier Remix)
Motorcycle - ATRC (G&D's Sweeping Strings mix)
Leon Bolier pres. Precursor - The Navigator
Way Out West - The Fall (Richard Durrand Remix)
signal runners - aria epica (bart claessen remix)
JOOP - The Future

Super8 and Tab :

Super8 + Tab - Needs To Feel (Original Mix)
Super8 and Tab - Helsinki Scorchin' (Mash up with ID shitty tune)
Above & Beyond - Alone Tonight (Unvocal mix??)
Interstate Vs. Sander Van Doorn - Remember The Sun Goes Down (First State Mash Up)
Super8 - Get Off
Super8 + Tab - Won't Sleep Tonight (Moody Dub Remix)
Tatana & Tyas pres. TNT - Airwave
Prodigy - Smack my ***** up (richard durrand remix)
Art of Trance - Madagascar (Ferry Corsten Remix)

+ many of their works

Was indeed a great night, loved the venue, the music, the people, everything. Already looking forward to see what they pull out of the bag for the next one!

Maybe you can stay awake at the next one man instead of flaking out on the sofa.

Wicked night guys - good to meet Greg & Ross finally.

Thanks for everyone who came down to our 7th ES Party, after the awesome birthday in Feb we wondered how it would fair moving venues, but i just love this place! has the feel of a big house party ! and everyone commented on how wicked the place was. Also good to see alot of new places on board especially the guys from italy, france and holland who had travelled over especially which was pretty mad!

the music in the trance room was spot on, i particularly enjoyed Tab and Super 8's set, who afterwards commented on it being one of their faviourite gigs which was a nice touch! they loved the underground warehouse feel and the soundsystem was something else!

Lizzie as ever was awesome, i dont know many more popular house djs and it worked really well doing the back to back with si pisani her partner in crime!

The bar room was rocking all night and thanks to all the djs that made it happen! hats off to Niall Gilliland for playing the most random set of music in there ranging from house to electro to breaks to trance! went down v well!

Roll on the summer boat parties, with the 1st installment on June 23rd! details coming soon!

On a final note ,delighted to name Niklas Harding as our new resident, and were looking forward to getting him showcased at many events in the future!

Thanks again to everyone off here who came! see you June 23rd !!

After spending 6 hours setting up and picking djs up from the airport early, i was ready for bed at 10. But when we opened the doors to see a queue of people waiting to come in i was full of life again.
Awesome sets by our International Djs, was reallly impressed by Re:Locates(Paul Moelands) set, this man will be going far. Think Tab and Super 8 stole the show for me though playing their unique style. All great guys, Jonas and Leon had me Laughing most of the night. Also Tom Bailey played an outstanding warm up set, for a guy thats never payed out before, was very cool and relaxed on the decks, will be looking forward to getting him down again.
Mr Alan Banks played the last hour and kept the room busy till 6, some great tunes played to finsh the night off.
In the Electro room, was good to see Ricky rpm and Si Francis show there skills off and great sets by Dan goss, Tim Cullen, Lukass and of corse K-Klass who played some real dirty Electro.
Big up our lovely ressie Lizzie and her man Si for another top set, will get a crate down for the next time so you can see over the decks.
The bar seemed very popular too, very cosy atmosphere in there, would like to thank all the djs playing, Cristiano, Little Jo, Formless, Chris Rayner, Matt Dahl and Niall Gilliland. Some great and unpredictable sets the crowed loved it.
Also like to thank Zoelee for doing the guest list and Swap and Ali for helping with things on the the night.

Glad to see everyone had a great time, was good to meet a load of new faces, hopefully see everyone at our next boat party, its gonna be a blinder.

Wicked nite, both Electro and Trance rooms were superb, excellent music, wish i could have split up in two and been in both rooms at the same time. Super8 + DJ Tabs were excellent as usual, Leon Bolier superb and Re:Locate did an AWESOME set... Trance room could do with some more ventilation, but apart from that, a really great night and venue overall...

A party that is going from strenght to strenght and it's fully deserved!
Great venue, great music, great people and great drink prices too.
Roll on the 23rd June on my favourite boat!!!
