Fresh off the back of our Derrick Carter Warehouse party we now bring you legends Daniel Bell and Kenny Hawkes – both on the same line-up! – alongside cutting edge talent Phonique, Acid Casuals (Feat Cian Ciaran of Super Furry Animals, Mark James and Matt Sawyer) and Lakuti.

Big line-ups away from the big clubs.

Daniel Bell who should need no introduction in 1991 reduced the Detroit techno sound into funky, streamlined grooves. The formula proved to be successful and helped launch a new minimal aesthetic in techno and house music with overwhelming success…. there’s probably no need to say even this, but if you want a bit more information check en.wikipedia.org

Also playing at the event will be the legenandry Kenny Hawkes who has been a pioneering influence for nearly 2 decades, establishing himself as one of the most respected and consistently creative house DJs in the world. His sets always have an air of quality, flowing through different musical styles. Not only a great DJ his discography is more than impressive. He released a Space compilation album on "Slip N` Slide" back in 1997, and ever since then has produced a plethora of unit shifting slices of excellence on many labels including Rekids, Brique Rouge, Music for Freaks, Paper Recordings, NRK Sound Division, Warp Records, 20:20 Vision and many many more.

In support Berlin Maestro Phonique shows us why he’s one of the most respected DJs and producers currently on the circuit working with a cross section of events, labels and producers from Cocoon to Monza, Erlend Oye to Sven Vath, Crosstown Rebels to Poker Flat, Steve Bug to Blackstrobe, Tresor to Watergate and heaps more.

Further support will come in the form of Lakuti who founded record label Süd Electronic in 2002 alongside Bodycode (AKA Portable). The label’s output has been supported by artists such as Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Rolando and many more, whilst Süd events have introduced many artists to London audiences with past guests including Dan Bell, Alex Under, Audio Werner, Jay Haze and Juan Atkins amongst many others.

The night also features Acid Casuals DJs PAPS (AKA Cian Ciaran of the Super Furry Animals), Mark James and Matt Sawyer who in-between busy schedules have found time to produce strongly supported tracks (Richie Hawtin, Josh Wink and Co) released on major techno labels such as Novamute and Below.

Corsica Studios is an intimate warehouse sandwiched between a number of brick railway arches. The space always has atleast two rooms, a large semi covered outdoor terrace and a Funktion 1 sound system throughout. Located just 2 minutes behind Elephant and Castle tube station (Zone 1 – Northern/ Bakerloo Line) it’s easily accessible.

Hope to see you there.
