On Saturday 21st April, two esteemed London rave crews - spanning the city’s electronic and bass scenes from the pool halls of Peckham to the warehouses of Hackney - unite to bring you a line-up that looks to the future whilst celebrating the visionaries of the past.
With a host of talent that spans almost three decades of electronic music; this night will present the coming together of a group of transatlantic pioneers from the cities of Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago, London, Liverpool and Glasgow, taking in classic Electro, Juke, Techno, Grime, House and more between them.

Fronting the bill is the crowned king of the Roland TR-808 drum machine, LA’s Egyptian Lover, who’s visionary dedication to electronic music over three decades continues to inspire some of our best new producers. He’ll be playing an exclusive live set incorporating live vocals, a live performance and a DJ set.
Taking the controls in Room Two will be the Drexciyan selector extraordinaire DJ Stingray. A true Detroit legend whose formative years spent playing alongside Jame Stinson and Gerald Donald’s Drexciya outfit and Moodymann, as well as his productions as Urban Tribe and Stingray313, means what this man doesn’t know about the Motor City sound isn’t worth hearing.
Next up are Chicago footwork pioneers Rashad & Spinn, whose intrinsic knowledge of their hometown’s musical heritage has seen them ride the wave of rugged, booty-bouncing sounds since the early nineties. Expect a quickfire selection and the freshest knee-popping riddims.
Another man whose recent experiments in the juke/footwork realm have caught the ear of many is Om Unit, who’s current Dream Continuum project with Machinedrum is shaking systems on both sides of the Atlantic. His sub-aquatic take on electro and bass make him the perfect compliment to Stingray for our dark side room 2 vibe.
We also have a DJ set from none other than the voodoo rave warrior himself Drums of Death, whose trilogy of 'Wave' EP’s over the past 6 months has been gaining heavy rotation from the likes of Diplo, Skream and Toddla T, whilst a live hardware set from Brassica will have lovers of emotive misty-eyed rave, disco and electronica enthralled.
Tying things up will be two fine producer/DJs - Patrice & Friends, Liverpudlian producer Slackk’s r’n’b-meets-footwork side project, and current bubbler South London Ordnance, a young producer whose techno tinged take on the ‘UK bass’ sphere has seen him picked up by the likes of Audio Culture, 2nd Drop and the LuckyMe crew. Support will come in the firm and dexterous hands of Wavey Tones’ Unlikely and the Hyponik DJs.
