Shiny,Happy People Having Fun.....
After a long (what seemed like forever!!!) train journey,we (myself a fair few of the Tonk troops) arrived at the entrance to Union.I have vague memories of the venue from the days of Twist afterparties there, and have always wanted to return to the place where Karim's thundering beats once made me dance into a astma attack!

Upon entry, with little wait,Glow Balls influence on the night was unmistakeable,as my eyes were greeted with stunning back drops, glowing in glorious uv,and plenty of very familiar smiling faces (many of which were also glowing!!)

Aqiuck scout around the venue to re-familierise myself with the venue soon found the Jaw dropping sound system in the Twist room!I was siuprised to hear trance playing in there, and really enjoyed the set (cant remember the fella's name, sorry!)

The place was s6tarting to get busy now,i found meself a spot on the floor in the glow ball room and started to get some dancin done!

The room was absoloutley packed by the time Eddie H finished he's set, doin a fantastic job of tgetting the room hyped right up!!!

From then on things just get better and better!Once again,my good friend Nik showing he's worth as a Glow Ball resident,i absoloutley loved ya set m8,you should have seen the state of me and Jas trying to controll are epeletic dance moves on the space stricken floor!!!A great mix of a some absoloute classic and upfront pumping hard trace!!!

Hoopz played a blinder,i don't think i've ever seen some one enjoy themselves behind the decks so much!Nice work dude, look forward to hearing alot more of you next (this) year!

Skol done a stunning job, considering he's one of the UK's top VINYL DJ's,and unfortunaltly, there was no way they could get a set of decks in the booth!!!Still managing to keep the crowd well happy with some classic hard house anthems!!!

Technikal, well,it kind of goes without saying! As always,Alf absoloutley smashed!Hands in the air, euphoric stomping in unison!

I was really excited to see MDA & Spherical on the line up,im a big fan of there production work, and had never actually seen them behind the decks before! They didn'y fail to impress!!!Some seriously talented DJ'ing, with tune selection that had the crowd blown away!!!

I must admit,i was considerabley 'in tune with the atmoashere' during young talent Aaron James's set,and thoroughly enjoyed floating away with the lasers for the majority of he's set,the tunes setting the perfect scene for a wander around my mind!!!

Set of the night, for me,has to go to the D4rk lord himself!I guess hardstyle is a bit like marmite,ya either love it or ya hate it!Well,I hate marmite, but if any of you saw my behaviour during D4rks set, I think it's clear to see I LOVE HARDSTYLE!Absoloute stomp fest of a set by D4rk,the only down side was the dact it finished (perhaps a little early?)

The free cd's,whistles,party poppers ect were great,although,in future,when there's hardstyle,can i just have a clean towel?

Thanks to everyone involved making it such a special event, and a big hi to all me club budz old and new!!

See ya all in feb!!!

Me too! :) Me and the guys go way back and I haven't managed to catch them playing out for ages. I was definately not disappointed and from my spot on the cloakroom steps I had an amazing view of the whole room going to mental to a set that completely blew me away! :)
