RAW CLUB PRESS RELEASE November 2nd is the sequel of ‘RAW CLUB’ at the all-new Dex Club in Brixton. The launch night (Oct 5th) was a huge success, which raised £2K for the charity! Rocked by Ron Carroll, DJ Spen and Dean Zepherin until daylight to a music-loving crowd. This month we are proud to present from the U.S ’Vikter Duplaix’ to deliver his installment of Elektronic Soul. Vikter, a Philadelphia native is the musical embodiment of a Soul Movement. Through the instantly recognizable seduction in his voice to his signature production and his distinctive DJ sets, he is the spokesman for a global alliance who aims to reclaim beautiful music for people worldwide. His DJ skills were honed with Philly legends Jazzy Jeff and King Britt. He uses his renowned DJ sets as a vehicle to bring likeminded music to pleasure seekers worldwide. His DJ sets have taken him to Europe, Japan, South America and beyond. Vikter Duplaix’s introduction to the global music scene came in 2000 with his installment of K7!' DJ Kicks series, showcasing his eclectic musical taste. Vikter went on to produce two classic albums of his own work on Warner’s and BBE respectively. His production work continues to defy genre, collaborating with artists as diverse as Masters at work, Earth, Wind and Fire, Jazzanova, Nitin Sawhney, King Britt, Erykah Badu and a reworking of Radiohead's "Tree Fingers" from their massively acclaimed LP "Amnesiac" Raw continues to make a difference bringing high profile DJ’s to support the work of Raw material charity that inspires and develops inner city youth.
