DJ Line-up:
RIVA STARR {Southern Fried, Made to Play} – ‘Don’t follow the rules, MAKE EM!’ A quote found on his MySpace instantly sums this artist up. Every once in a while a new producer just smashes their way through into the big-time. That's what's happening with Riva Starr's sneak-in-and-blow-the-place-up approach.
Riva Starr plunders the best in genre busting tech house and beeping, burping synth lines to create a dirty, messy dance floor affair. His first appearance on Jesse Rose's Frontroom label with the Thizzle EP led to a release on Claude Vonstroke's pivotal Dirtybird label with the WTF?! EP - described by IDJ as "Essential - 5/5". Then there were two releases in quick succession on Southern Fried - a remix for Armand van Helden and his own EP, Scratch'n'Itch, which had raves from a stupidly wide variety of DJs.
The gigs have kept apace for our headline act. Just in the last months there's been a China tour, Glastonbury, Glade and Fusion Festivals, two slots at the Winter Music Conference - the Dirtybird party and a huge Lot49 event – an Australian and US tour on the pipeline and definitely more to come.
What's next? A new album on Jesse Rose’s ‘Made to Play’ record label and a host of top flight remixes for artists such as Fatboy Slim , The Gossip and Funkagenda. We can’t wait for him to smash peak time nouveau!

KANIO {Novakane Recordings} – After some time in the music industry under various aliases Kanio smashed his way onto the underground dance music scene in late 2007 with a string of chart topping productions. In little more than a year he achieved a massive 5 top ten hits and a further 7 top 20's on the Beatport chart, cementing his position on the worldwide scene and becoming nominated for best minimal artist at the Beatport music awards 2009. Off the back of this swift rise, September 2008 saw the launch of his Novakane imprint, already swiftly following suit in terms of sales success. Besides Novakane, Kanio has signed tracks, and had remixes commissioned to labels such as Traum, Yellow Tail, Autist, Suruba, Stereo Seven Plus, and Italo Business.
Kanio’s work has been supported by major players from Richie Hawtin to Audiojack to Claude Von Stroke, and has regularly featured on BBC Radio 1’s dance shows. Gigs have come thick and fast for Kanio; he has already secured appearances at some of the UK’s hottest parties including Circoloco, Jaded at The End, Ketoloco, Lo*kee, Redlight and Wet Yourself. He recently headlined the second room at the Sasha and Digweed warehouse party in Leeds, as well as gracing the decks at every London Club worth mentioning. Furthermore he is set to embark on his fifth tour of Brazil and has played in more different European cities than you can shake a big stick at. Watch out for this talented DJ/Producer, he is sure to rock our dance floor with his flawless blend of house and techno.

SCOTT COOPER {Potty Mouth Music} - Lincoln, although not famed for being a clubbing mecca has produced its fair share of dj talent in recent years. Scott, just like Radio 1's Jaymo & Andy George cut his teeth at the highly acclaimed night Moda, where he shared the bill with a host of big names including Switch, Annie Mac, Kissy Sell Out, Herve and Zombie Disco Squad. Since then he has moved to London and further cultivated his love of all things house resulting in his own unique style that borrows and takes influence from various genres including hip hop, ragga, dancehall and baile funk. His diverse spin on the underground sound has made him a hit internationally with a host of appearances across the UK, Europe, Canada and the USA.
His production skills have not gone unnoticed either. His tracks and remixes have been snapped up by highly regarded labels such as Potty Mouth Music, Wearhouse, Palms Out Sounds, Fat!, Nightshifters and Y4K have received numerous radio plays, been charted by the likes of Diplo, and become a staple for a host of big names. These include Lee Mortimer, Hijack and Edu K, and have even found their way into the sets of house legends Jon Carter and Justin Robertson.
