After a fantastic year at Dex, Get Diverted and Slide join forces again after the sell out August bank holiday parties with their biggest line-up of the year at Dex, presenting one of the leading lights in the house and techno world, NIC FANCIULLI, bringing his Saved Records imprint with label artists ALEX TEPPER and MARK FANCIULLI.
Growing up in Kent, as a teenager Nic Fanciulli got a residency at local night Club Class after a stint working at a record shop, and it was here he mastered his trade opening for headline acts such as Deep Dish, Pete Tong and X-Press 2. His profile quickly rose way above that of his peers, and after successful residencies at London’s Turnmills and Ministry of Sound he won a high profile Sunday residency on the legendary Space terrace in Ibiza. It was here that he became one of the biggest names in house music today, aided by his mix CDs for Mixmag and the prestigious Renaissance series. He also produces under The Buick Project and Skylark guises amongst others, remixing acts such as Underworld, Tiefschwarz, and UNKLE as well as releasing his own productions on Renaissance. He has collaborated and performed across the globe with fellow superstar James Zabiela for their one+one project, and this year completed a hugely popular residency at Space Ibiza with Carl Cox.
Alex is probably best known for being one half of Futureshock. He has been involved in some heavy duty productions for over 15 years remixing for the likes of Chemical Brothers, New Order & Groove Armada. He's also written and producing with the likes of Steve Lawler and Nic Fanciulli, with releases for labels like Ovum, Get Physical, Rejected, Viva & Saved amongst others. Alex has enjoyed a great 2010 with the huge ‘Terris’ with Paul Harris and ‘In, Out, Life’ being two of the tunes of the summer. Nic's brother Mark also joins us alongside assorted Slide & Get Diverted residents including Raymondo Rodriguez. Em Williams, Rob Alldritt & Dan Holmes.
