FunkBed is a monthly night created by a group of friends looking to put on a new party in Shoreditch. The focus is on creating a positive and friendly party atmosphere, to a soundtrack of eclectic, original and accessible dance music. The venue is a wicked up and coming new 400 capacity Shoreditch club called Ditch Bar, it's spread over two floors and for the first night you can expect some quality soul and funk early on upstairs in the lounge to chill to, moving onto some jazzy house and finishing with some proper tech funk from Paradise Record's Driveby. Downstairs, the spacious dancefloor - with top lighting, new plasma screens and a quality soundsystem - starts off on an upbeat electro vibe, progressing through the best of classic and cutting edge breakbeat, with Breakspoll breakthrough DJ's AWE Soundsystem headlining. The result is a fun, upbeat night that exposes new and emerging talent as well as already established acts playing the best in Funk, House, Electro & Breaks. With top quality music, deals on drinks and cheap entry you cant go wrong, hope to see ya down there! ;)
