Masoul:
Some of you already know the KEEP THE FAITH vet DJ - others of you may know his work as Producer for Puerto Rican based label Almagama Records - where Masoul reworked some great Trad Rican folk music into a Bruk-beat stylee.
Masoul has worked with some great musical figures - when i first came accross his tracks some years ago i heard a distinctly JAZZ STEP feel to his tunes that reminded me of the soul-jazz-jungle around in 95-6 - so it was no suprise to find he had indeed done some productions with Jazz Step dons Alex Reese and Wax Doctor :D
To my ear Masoul's productions are getting better and better - with Ursula Rucker having now signed up his remix of her work - Masoul is getting better and better - his latest test press a re-work of Monday Michiru is an epic 10 mins bringing Bruk into a classic MAW feel but keeping true to the Jazz DnB Drops and climaxes.
Make sure you are there early also this Sat May 5th @ The Ditch Bar to hear the Masoul showcase - featuring much new work straight and exclusive out the studio.

Masoul has just done a new Warrior FM mix that we will be dropping shortly also (more info to follow...)
