On Friday April 27th, Angel Rose and Josh Quinton will be presenting their latest exploits into the wild world of cinematic trash. Both shot in stunning HD (High-Death) by Nikolai Galitzine of Errant Films, Terrormisu and The Green Carnation are our most ambitious and visually spectacular films so far and we are thrilled to premiere them both at the Last Tuesday Society.

Terrormisu features an all-star cast of clubland personalities from past till present. Not only does the film star London’s current creatures of the night, but also, two living legends of the Blitz era; a cross-generational nod to the scene that started it all. Adorned with surreal creations from Carianne Moore and milliner Mich Dulce, we witness this cast of creeps collectively summon “The Spirit” (played by Daniel Lismore) to the table. Thus we are served a perfect metaphor that echoes the ethos of the evening’s presentations: celebration of a community that embraces the creative spirit.

In both The Green Carnation and Terrormisu, Angel Rose’s disembodied head plays the part of a traditional horror host a la Elvira – but with a twist. Instead of camp jokes, Angel Rose muses on death and predicts the inevitable doom of decadence. Written and produced by Angel Rose, The Green Carnation showcases her unique verse and dedicated performance in this spoken word-cum-karaoke act. Referencing the gothic romanticism of Poe, Blake and even Shakespeare in her writing, she contorts her hedonism into poetry. All sung to the tune of Diana Ross “Aint No Mountain High Enough”, she is both disco diva and Disney villain in this surrealist pop video.
