A collaboration of world renowned dj’s / producers Franck Roger, Alix Alvarez and Mr.V, held at the Djoon club. The 5 beats night has quickly built a reputation as the hottest underground party in Paris and one of the hottest in Europe. It recently launched in NYC with parties at different venues around the big apple, these actively soul retaining workmen now launch their underground affair in London. Having presented to play alongside them everyone from Danny Krivit, Dennis Ferrer and Theo Parrish to Omar S and Jerome Sydenham; they join forces to explode this intimate assembly here at the newly launched East Village. Djing for 13 years and running his own label Real Tone Records Franck Roger fully understands that spreading house worldwide and making music is the most important thing in his life. Through chaperoning the finest DJ’s around, Franck and his 5 Beats party remains one of the best soulful nights in the world. Accompanying him the New York City Dynamo’s Alix Alvarez and Mr.V work close together to ensure the highest standards of house music will penetrate your eardrums! Alix from a very young age has devoted himself to cutting and blending records, later on attending The Shelter as his first underground party. Continuing to dedicate his life to sound; he studied audio engineering and landed himself a job at MAW studios. From there we’ve heard a stream of successful productions from the NYC wonder-kid that can do no wrong. Born in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, Mr.V was introduced to the club scene by his Aunt who was a bouncer for ‘The World’ Club. Dj’ing non-stop from age 14 his reputation earned him a position at MAW records as assistant to ‘Little’ Louie Vega. Mr.V remains an integral part of the music and club scene with years of experience as a gifted DJ with new ideas and a fresh sound. Supporting these guys Dave Jones, who’s known for his ‘weekending’ London parties and work for MN2S knows just how to set the tone since he’s worked with everyone from Larry Heard to Tony Humphries.
