Following an absolutely roadblocked easter special in conjunction with Mulletover and Resident Advisor (2000 people across a monster 3room warehouse!!!), Artizan Music's renowned label session Uptownboogiedown, returns for their bi-monthly throwdown at Shoreditch fave East Village. Label heads, residents and much-loved producer duo Poussez - aka Jafar & Maxime Cescau, are joined this month by the mighty ATJAZZ. Rounding off the main room is EV's own Stuart Patterson who celebrates his birthday on the night so hold on to your hats!! Upstairs meanwhile, keys wizard Andy Touch?ngers presents the launch of Artizan's new sister label Artizan Soul showcasing the best in disco, boogie, reggae, re-edits and all manner of left?eld dance?oor sleaziness. He'll be rocking an extended set across the decks and keyboards, accompanied by 3 p.a's from Artizan Soul's talented female vocalists, plus Dj support from Stevie Diamond and Toby Phickle from Brixton's renowned 'Jerk' night.
