There is a shuttle bus that runs until 1am from bus stop G outside Kings Cross tube station on York way the takes everyone to EGG for free.
The Formula story......... please read if you have time as it explains who we are and what were are about.
Formula was started because of the failure of clubs and DJ's to take notice of what the crowd wanted. Our DJ’s will be dancing behind the decks as much as the crowd purely because we are delivering, as clubbers exactly what we want to hear ourselves. We have been to many nights where the place has been absolutely having it then when the DJ changes, so does the music style so everyone is forced to sit down. Who are they to tell us that we should be listening to a different style of music? Our aim is to never let this happen. Our DJ's will consistently deliver the funkiest most uplifting tunes and anthems all night and there are no excuses. Middle of the road tunes are unacceptable. Our nights are run for the clubbers, if you sit down you miss out. Our current crowd are amazing and we thank you so much for what you have done to make Formula grow so fast and be talked about so much as it is at the moment.
The clubbers that go to our night will be found at: Hed Kandi, Serious, Dusted, Defected, Kinky Malinki, City Loud, Smartie Party, Fused and many more. So if you go to any of these nights you should feel well at home at Formula.
Money tune:We need to explain what this is all about. Money tune is a concept that we have created that typifies the sort of music we want to have at Formula. A Money Tune is the track on a cd that gives you goose bumps when listen to it at home. You would pay the door entrance fee to a club just to be able to dance to it when it comes on. I know a few of us were close to tears when we see the sea of happy faces singing their lungs out when Philpy dropped in Bodyswerve at the last event.
Due to the fact that we have now taken on thewhole of EGG and have 3 different roomswe have now been able to bring you something extra.
Rooms:
Main Funky roomwill be vocal uplifting funky house all night. No dip's, no flat spots, no rest from the constant delivery of Money tunes all night.
Tough'n'Funky roomwhich will be based on a night we recently had at Fused in Pacha. The music was still funky but with less vocals and more driving.
Loft classics roomwill be a place to chill out and remaniss about the good old days when we started out. Classic's from this period will be the likes of Njoy-anthem K-klass let me show you and the likes of Yeke Yeke.... I just love it!
We are also offering amoney back guarantee. If you are unhappy with the music or the crowd by 1am and want to leave, we will refund you £10 of your entrance fee. This is not a wind up. We know that Saturday nights are very precious to people and it is a big gamble to spend one with an unknown event but we are not interested in the money. We want you all to come and see what we have to offer and spread the word. We promise you we will not let you down. I hope that if you have never been before you will try Formula as see if we can deliver what we have promised. To all of our regulars.......
