'Journeys'@ EGG, Friday 28th October, 10-6am, £8 b4 12, £12 after

Friday 28th October sees the start of house legend Robert Owen's new residency at Egg.

Playing a marathon 8 hour set in Room 1, Robert promises to take the crowd on a journey through his 20 years as one of house music's pioneers - disco into deep, deep into the tougher, more techy sounds of today.

In the second room, hosted by new label Hear No Evil, Norway's Rune Lindbaek (known for some cracking releases on Paper Recordings) and 'Todd' Terje (fresh from the massive success of his reworking of Michael Jackson's 'Can't Help it'), whose DJ sound is uniquely self-described as "astroboogie, cocunut-jungle-marimba-safari-disco, with a touch of superküllers". Joining the Norwegians, Chicago/Shoreditch's Dan Berkson with his blend of the deepest tech-house and electro.

And after all that, from 6am, for those that can handle it, an after party hosted by Robert at an East London location - more details on the night.

EGG is at 200 York Way, Kings Cross. For more details see www.egglondon.net
