On Saturday 29th April Egg invites you to celebrate part 1 of their 3rd birthday at an event based on the famous scene from Alice in Wonderland ‘The Mad Hatters Tea Party’. With DJs, live music, themed production throughout the venue, party bags and actors dressed as characters from the children’s classic, The Mad Hatters Tea Party has all the ingredients and more to create the ultimate birthday party.

Already in 3 years Egg has proved itself to be a real contender, if not the leader, in London’s underground clubbing scene. Embracing all musical genres the venue has grown to become one of the most popular clubs in the Capital. In 2003 Egg won the prestigious BEDA award for London’s best venue and has since been nominated for Best Venue in the House Music Awards and the Time Out Live awards.

Music for the event will encompass the very best of eclectic, electro and house and retro, with a blend of DJs that include London’s finest cutting edge, rising stars playing alongside some of the nu breed of international A list DJs.

Entertainment on Saturday night comes in the form of:

Loft Bar (Eclectic)
Kevin Mooney (Adam & The Ants/Wide Boy Awake), Gary Asquith (Renegade Soundwave, Le Coq Musique), Ben Westwood

Terrace (House)
Miss Honey Dijon, Stuart Patterson, Rap Saunders

Basement (electro)
Miss Jools (Clandestino), Clive Henry (Circo Loco), Boris Horel (Sketch), Nils Hess

Garden (retro)
Live Band Performance (TBC)
Fat Tony (DJ set)

This event brings together the worlds of fashion, clubbing and music. There are special appearances from 80’s music icons Kevin Mooney from Adam & The Ants & Gary Asquith from Renegade Soundwave, playing retro sets in the loft bar alongside the fashion worlds Ben Westwood, whilst on the terrace DJ Miss Honey Dijon, the number one choice for fashion houses such as Chloe, Hermes & Visionare and other top fashion calendar events, draws from a wide repertoire of musical styles to manipulate the crowds and lead them on a journey through old school Chicago house, disco, tech-house, tribal, funk and soul.
