Saturday the 1st of December The Egg is all about Electronation’s Satellite 31. The idea behind Satellite 31 is promoting the Dutch dance-scene by bringing Dutch DJs/producers to well respected clubs in Europe’s major cities like Barcelona (Club 13), Berlin (Maria am Ostbahnhof) and of course London (Egg). After four successful editions in The Egg with great artists like Alexander Robotnick, Freeform Five, Mason, Phil Kieran, Mount Sims, Funk D’Void and Bart Skils the fifth edition will be an extra special one. Electronation presents you the Agoria’s At the Controls release party. For this night the line-up will be with Agoria (Different/PIAS, FR), James Priestley (secretsundaze, UK) and Terry Toner (Electronation, NL).

The instant that French artist Sebastian Devaud, also known as Agoria, got touched by electronic dance music he immediately fell in love with it. He started producing and in 2004 he released his first album Blossom. Blossom is best described as ‘melodic techno’ and with releases like La Marche, Sky is Clear and Spinash Girl the album had a great impact in the international dance-scene. From that time on Agoria’s star rised with gigs in international respected clubs like Rex (Paris), Fabric (London), Watergate (Berlin) and at international festivals like Sonar. After his performance for Electronation at Dance Valley this year, Agoria will be back to present his official release party for his superb ‘At the Controls’ double mix CD – a series which has featured luminaries such as Claude VonStroke and James Holdon before him.

In 2002 James Priestley launched secretsundaze, where he invited artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Craig, Trevor Jackson and Steve Bug to smash the hell out outdoor London venues…on a Sunday avo. This legendary party was awarded by both Mixmag and Time Out the prestigious accolade of 'Best UK Club Night'. As a DJ James’ his style can be generally described as deep House & Techno, often borrowing from his freestyle background, preferring to move things around rather than follow one linear groove. His style hasn’t gone unnoticed and he has played some of the best clubs and parties around the world. In September 2007 he released his first compilation / mix CD – “secretsundaze Volume 1”, and his fantastic debut production, ‘Chariots’, with Dan Berkson..

The Dutch input will come from our own resident Terry Toner. He will represent the Electronation sound this night. Terry has been a resident DJ for five years now. He can be regarded as one of the biggest talents in the Dutch dance-scene. His style can be described as a blend of deep-house and tech-house. Terry Toner is also busy as a producer with releases like ‘Eat the Postive’ and ‘Orange Theme’. Nico De Ceglia of AKA’s awesome midweek knees-up Codex will be getting things going in the main room.

Over in the Going Places room (where an international producer/DJ is brought over to the England every party, for their very first gig), this month’s UK debut comes from F-Communcation’s Master H. From his musical friendship with Laurent Garnier (they DJed funk records back to back all night as Laurent's private millenium party) to Slam signing him to Soma for his debut artist album, Master H never fails to set the dancefloor alight with his blend of French house and techno!
