**EXCLUSIVE AND FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY**
Jori Hulkkonen v Jesper Dahlback
(BACK 2 BACK 4 HOUR SET)

PLUS TERRY TONER (RESIDENT) & JET SET (SOMA) & GOING PLACES BIRTHDAY

For one night only and exclusively for Satellite 31 we bring you Jori Hulkkonen dubbed ‘most underrated producer in the world’ by DJ Mag will play a special back 2 back set with his close friend, Jesper Dahlback, an original Swedish new producer invader and Techno&House genius. These guys define the word Techno and with hot shot Terry Toner on board this will surely be an educational night of pure Techno&House heaven. They rarely get together to do this back2back session, but for this Satellite 31 we have produced the goods and managed it, so please take note of this unique and exclusive line-up which has got the whole of London talking. The garden will be open with Djs from 10pm and allnight bar for this special event.

Jori Hulkkonen, born in 1973, hails from the northern town of Kemi, Finland. Jori quickly developed a taste, and more importantly, a passion for electronic music. He ran his own label Lumi record in the early 90's, a debut album Selkäsaari Tracks in 1996, released on Italian ACV and Swedish Hybrid and signed to Laurent Garnier's legendary F communications imprint. 2008 looks like yet another busy year, his latest album called Errare Machinale Est (F communications) is his most ambitious and creative album yet. His brilliant new remix of Sunglasses at night (Zyntherius being an alter ego of Jori) together with Tiga is available now and a classic by all accounts of his sublime work.

Jesper Dahlback, a Swedish based electronic artist working out of Stockholm. As part of the "Swedish Invasion" along with Adam Beyer and Cari Lekebusch, Jesper helped to redefine the techno landscape in 95/96 with their patented hard-percussive sound. Also under the alias DJ Lenk, he started his own label Blank and recorded for Drumcode, Loop, Earthtones, Hybrid, Turbo, Svek and others. The future is very bright, more releases for SVEK, a new Stockholm Mix Sessions for Turbo, remix projects, more extensive touring, and of course a continued devotion to his futuristic house sound.

Terry Toner, this young and energetic DJ, producer and remixer is one of the main underground house talents in the Dutch electronic music scene. 2008 has definitely been Terry’s year with massive support from the likes of Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Sasha, John Digweed, Sander Kleinenberg, Roger Sanchez, Fedde Le Grand and many more.

>>OCTOBER DOUBLE WHAMMY FOR OUR 5th BIRTHDAY <<

Going Places has reached the grand old age of five and it only seems like yesterday when we held our first party in T2 at The Gallery and were promptly offered a monthly residency by Danny Newman just a few hours into the first event! Since then Going Places has criss-crossed the globe pursuing the freshest international talent each month and offering them a platform to break into the rigid London scene... we’re proud to have provided Tony Senghore, Tiger Stripes and Muzzaik with their UK debuts among others.

Our international guests have included chopstick! (Germany), Aldrin (Singapore), Livio (Romania), Mashtronic (Germany), Anton Neumark (Russia), Robot Needs Oil (Poland), Hernan Serrao (Argentina), Tim Andresen (Denmark) and Master H (France) plus from the UK shores Mike Monday, Rui Da Silva, Deepgroove and Paul Thomas. Twice Going Places was invited to host The Gallery across three rooms and headline guests included Hernan Cattaneo, Satoshi Tomiie and Agoria. As well as these fantastic guests, Going Places now boasts three superb residents in the shape of Tania von Pear alongside Rick Maia and Ilana Belsky and a new home at Egg as part of the Satellite 31 parties.

SATURDAY 4th OCTOBER @ EGG
GOING PLACES HOT NEW TALENT with Jet Project (Ireland)

For Part 2, we’re looking to the future and one of the hottest new names to emerge from Ireland, JET PROJECT aka John McIver. With residencies at Stiff Kitten and Shine in Belfast, releases on Katabatic, Om and Utensil and fans including Claude Von Stroke, Worthy and Paul Woolford; John’s star is most definitely on the rise. As one half of Jet Project, with previous Going Places guest Timmy Stewart, John has remixed Andy Weatherall and Paul Woolford plus they have a new artist album coming out on Soma.
