TREVOR LOVEYS (Machines Dont Care / Dubsided)
myspace.com

Trevor’s love of music started at a young age when he discovered electro and hip hop back in the early eighties. He got heavily into the scene collecting all the music he could from various record shops and radio shows, and went on to paint graffiti until his mid 20’s when a close friend bought an Akai sampler and Roland Juno 106 synthesiser. This was to be the turning point and beginning of a journey into production.

After teaching himself programming and production over a period of 3 years, he was ready to put out his first release on the House of 909 imprint. He released around 5 12" singles and EPs over a 2 year period and went on to record an album 'The Children We Were', which received critical acclaim from music press and fans of his deep house sound.

Then in 2000 he met up with Dave Taylor and started working on various projects together, the most successful of wich was to become the now renound Switch. They released various singles and did high profile remixes including Chemical Brothers, Basement Jaxx and Busta Rhymes.

He then went on to form the Speaker Junk project with Herve (another long time friend and production partner), they are continuing to develop this project together with singles and remixes. In addition Trevor is also part of the Machines Dont Care collective which reads like a who's who of todays underground scene. After the success of his last solo e.p on Dubsided, Organ Grinder, Trevor is concentrating a lot of his efforts on his solo projects and playing out. With a hectic release schedule and some big projects in the pipeline expect to be seeing a lot more of him over the next year.

HIJACK (Jack Union Recs)
myspace.com

Since 2006, HiJack has become an established name in the UK’s underground house scene. The debut “HiJackin' EP” was released with On The Brink Recordings, and championed by the likes of Claude Vonstroke, Oliver $, and Lee Mortimer. Since then, more EPs have hit the stores, including Jack Union’s “Wobble House EP” and the recent “Jackpot EP” on US label Potty Mouth Music.

HiJack’s remix projects have included reworks of tracks from Santiago and Bushido, The Bulgarian, and Nic Sarno, for labels including Brickhouse and Wearhouse Music. In early 2008, the bass-heavy remix of Andy George’s “Big Dipper” received frequent airplay on Radio 1 and support from DJs worldwide, including the Crookers and Kissy Sellout.

HiJack’s DJ sets are known for being packed with unreleased tracks, bootlegs and re-edits, and have generated a large following for his podcasts and mixes. Over the past year HiJack has performed at venues across the UK and Europe, and at festivals such as the Gatecrasher Summer Sound System and Holland’s Dutch Gathering, alongside acts including Switch, Trevor Loveys, and Annie Mac.

HeavyFeet are the Manchester-based production and DJ duo busy rewriting the rulebook for new artists and the level of success that can be achieved in a short period of time. Having established themselves within a pioneering house music movement that focuses on fun and energy, the double act are now creating nothing short of a musical tidal wave by incorporating the sounds of dubstep, rave, breakbeat and drum ‘n’ bass into their sets and taking it to appreciative club audiences and house music fans.

With an ever expanding DJ set-up currently consisting of decks, FX, laptop, controllers and the regular addition of Goldie’s choice hype man, Switch MC, as well as remixes and original material released by some of the hottest indie and major record labels in the game, HeavyFeet are energetically bubbling away crafting a sound they firmly believe to be the next big thing.
