Following the now legendary Mixmag party with Justice in December, the world’s biggest clubbing magazine is returning to the primordial rave swamp of London’s Egg club for not one, but TWO huge shebangs in the space of 16 manic hours.

The marathon rave kicks off at 10pm on with the Night party. Like the pages of Mixmag brought to pounding, dayglo life, it’s a feast of eclectic excellence from all over dance music.

Spread across FIVE arenas, here are some of the highlights:

  • Underground hero Pier Bucci bringing the techno with his phenomenal live techno set,
  • Drum ‘n’ bass royalty High Contrast and Cyantific
  • Superhot new French duo Poney Poney, fresh from recording their Justice-produced debut album
  • Bass heavy house monsters Heavy Feet crushing all comers in the basement with Sick Djs Andy Burby & Dom Clarke.
  • Man of the moment Grum (‘Runaway’) rocking a laser kissed mini festival in the Egg garden
  • Nu breed big room house producers I:AM to appear in the main room for an exclusive set
  • Live sets from Sioux City Boys, D-Late & Daypak and Jozif Mog in the Apothecary

Add to this the incredible beatboxing of Kila Kela, big room fidget electro from Jokers Of the Scene and a new layout with more music and action than ever before - and you have one of the parties of the year.

And as if that wasn’t enough, cancel the milkman! The Day party will then be taking the concept of after hours to a new dimension, rocking the full club through til 1pm with a line-up that’s every bit as bad boy. Stay tuned to mixmag.net for updates

Mixmag's BIG QUESTIONS with seriously hot producers I:AM

I:AM is a fresh breed of DJ/Producers coming out of London, making serious waves since they burst onto the house music scene at the end of 2007. Through a combination of silky production skills and uplifting DJ sets, I:AM are fast becoming one of the most exciting acts in electronic music right now.

Mixmag's BIG QUESTIONS with DnB legend, High Contrast

The name High Contrast needs no introduction anymore; though when a young Lincoln Barrett signed on the dotted line back in 2000 he was a complete unknown. Signed on the strength of his mini-disc demos, the Welsh wonder has smashed his way through the D’n’B scene and to chart success in a blink of an eye.

Mixmag's BIG QUESTIONS with Jokers of the Scene

Ottawa's Jokers Of The Scene made the leap from party DJs to producers simply by working with what they knew best: the most mind-meltingly intense parts of dance music throughout history, from ecstatic big room house buildups to hyper-distorted electro basslines and the lighthearted samples of 90s techno, all thrown in a blender at 130 BPM.

Mixmag Night & Day Headliners...

Mixmag’s ‘Night and Day’ sees the world’s biggest dance music and clubbing magazine take over the full 6 room partying capacity of London’s Egg club and outdoor garden for a lengthy session of the smart beats, cool clubbers and just a smidgen of sleep deprived madness next bank holiday weekend.

Mixmag's BIG QUESTIONS with Drum and Bass heavyweights, Cyantific

In a Strangely blurred area of South West London on Google maps, there are reports of tech, funk and breaks well above normal levels. In regular djing trips outside of the compound Cyantific has leaked more and more space age material.
