EGG hunt for new resident DJs

TEST LOUNGE

Egg’s newest Saturday night promotion 'Showtime presents...’ is looking for new residents. We want young fresh talented DJs and will consider all styles of music although we are especially keen to sign up a live DJ/VJ to compliment the Showtime brand which incorporates live music, DJs and other forms of live entertainment. There is more than 1 opening for a resident 2007 and the chosen DJs will not only play for us in London but also be our International representatives when we take Showtime presents… on tour next year.

So start getting together your mixes, CVs/biogs and photos to send to us here at EGG. Address all entries to TEST LOUNGE, EGG, 5 - 13 VALE ROYAL, LONDON, N7 9AP

The closing date for entries is 29th December 2006

PLEASE NOTE: We are looking to discover new talent, so if you are a bedroom DJ or someone who just hasn’t been given a chance yet and someone whom we can work with to develop their style then you’re who we want. We would prefer that you do not already hold a residency anywhere else.

The chosen finalists will battle it out at a special event called ‘Showtime presents The Test Lounge’ to be held on Saturday 6th January 2007.

Time is running out for the Test Lounge guys so get those mixes into us. The standard is very high and it's gonna be a tough competition, but there is still time, so keep them coming!

yes we are looking for house DJs and if you got through you would have received a call by now, we had lots of great entries and will probably hold another one in the next month or so for a Friday night resident...

Egg would like to thank everyone who took part in Saturday nights Test Lounge, the standard of entry was phenomenal and it was very hard to choose the winners. The semi finals will be held on the following dates Friday 26th Jan & Friday 23rd Feb. The semi finalists are: (23.01.07) Maik Yells, La Gosse, Dynamic Brothers & Two’s company. Round 2 (23.02.07) Andy Roze, Rory McCart, Danny Marx & Alex Everest.

We will also be holding a new competition on Friday 26th Jan for a Friday night resident, so if you want a chance to take part please send your CD’s & biogs to us at the venue marked Test Lounge.
