Following on from the success of McQueen’s “Don’t be Fooled” single launch party last month, the next chapter in the Social saga is to say goodbye to one of our great Friends and Residents “Nine Lives The Cat” who leaves the UK for good in June to tour America and put pen to paper on a new album with his band “Death Set”. We thought it'd be a nice touch to ask NineLives to do the lineup, so we did, and here it is:-

During the Industrial Revolution Luddites set about destroying all new factories etc, as they were opposed to progress.

Nowadays if you call someone a Luddite it means they lack technological know how... Personally I think Luddites are due a comeback.

The story behind Dan and social goes that i'd heard about him before we did the 1st one 15 months ago, and on my brother's advice got him down to play. it was in a cocktail bar in soho and he played a funk set the likes of which i'd never heard before. It went down so well we had to get him back again, and again and so on. Since that day i've personally bought more funk records than breaks so his literally shaped my dj persona completely

for those who don't know who holly (the jelly mong) is, she produces under the name of kash volt and has had her 1st toon played on kiss 100 before it's been signed or even considered for release. Big tings will happen for this lady i have no doubt.
