Faric = Waste of time

Went on Friday and can safely say that Fabric is the worst 'so called' big club I have been to. Too big whats going on with all the stairs?! just turned into a hang out for thr fu(kheads! Too many dickheads not giving a shit if they smacked right into you! an apology would of been nice even by ONE person you know?!, main room was ridiculous! all it was was twats bashing into me and having to push people back! Terrible atmosphere, poor sound too! Where was the bass?!

I have been to most of the major clubs in London and can say that I def won't be visiting Fabric again, waste of money! oh and to top it off, the main reason I wanted to goon Friday was 2manydj's and the club decides to put on the main act from 12-2?!?! WTF?!?!?

what?! Every time I've been, it's been top notch. As for the people, I can't comment - never been on a Friday.

was shit mate, sounded just LOUD. worst was the people though, biggest bunch of dickheads ever amassed! perhaps im just used to clubs up north where people are a lot friendlier???

They can be a bit pushy when there's a big name on, as the big name is usually room 1, with smaller names on in room 2, so people tend to cram into room 1, causing a bit of a crush.

I'd say to give it another go sometime, possibly when there's a better spread of names across the rooms.

interesting - went down with 8 mates and didn't have any problem with anyone. all had a good night, admittedly i was a tad dissapointed with 2many djs set but everything else i thought was tip top. Last time i was at Fabric was a soulwax night and that was a lot more cramped than friday and yes when it is like that it can get pushy but didn't have that problem this time??!

as for people being more friendly up north, i went to the warehouse project for annie mac/erol alkan and k sell out and that was the worst i've ever seen people behave!! was like you wern't even there sometimes! but if its rammed you have to roll with it to a degree.

Thanks for the replies lads! Well, I have been clubbing for like 10 years now and have been to some nights where rammed doesn't even come close to explaining it! I just found people in general rude & abnoxious. Also found that in the main room no one actually danced? It was more like a mosh pit!

I see what you mean about it being ruder in different areas, perhaps it's more to do with what drugs people are on?! lol

I will stick to Ministry & The End from now on! - Going to Turnmills closing, that's gonna be interesting!!!

Earlier on there are more on the beer, who do tend to push a bit more ... it thins out about 3/4 and it's much better. I recommend finding a spot where there's less jostling

Room 1 - I find near the back good, by the security guard at the door next to the stage ... as you walk in to to the room, it's on the right side.

Room 2 - The back wall opposite the DJ, set slightly back (although it does depend upon how big a name you've got, as it can be busy - being used as a a thoroughfare.

i used to go all the time and found it full of rudeboys on a friday, mostly because of their love of mcees (sorry to generalise - but it is true!). been away for a year and went there ready for the usual attitude a couple weeks ago (marine parade night) and happily discovering that the rudeboy massive no longer seemed to be there trying to half inch your mobile and grope your missus. i was pleasently surprised to say the least! being a fan of dnb, breaks and dubstep i was all over the club for the whole night and found nothing but sound people wantig to mingle everywhere i explored. i guess it only takes a person or two to create a bad vibe and spoil it for everyone else. my recent mission to fabric had to be my best night out in London in a long, long time. even the sardines crammed in a small tin sensation couldnt bring me down! bring on Breakspoll this thursday!! AV IT.
