SQUIRRELL
Squirrell started getting seriously into music in the 80's when Electro came along, listening to stuff like Plantet Patrol, The Jonzun Crew, Afrika Bambaata, Cybotron, Captain Rock, Aleem, Newcleus and listening to the likes of Tim Westwood on LWR. In 1988, the Acid scene started which is when started buying vinyl on a more regular basis and in the Summer of 1989 I paid my first visit to Camden Palace. In 1990, I was given my first DJ'ing slot by Chris Paul, someone to whom I owe a great deal, doing a mid week night at the Gas Club, playing stuff by Looney Tunes, Patti Day, Frankie Knuckes, Toni Scott........I could go on and on. In January 1991 I was then offered the chance to play at the Camden Palace on Friday nights a night called Orange also run by Chris Paul......those of you who were there know!.....here I was resident for 4-5 years. In 1991, Orange began a night at The Rocket, which became the place to be on a Saturday night, great vibe, great crowd...........days never to be forgotten. Here I was DJ'ing along the likes of Grooverider, Fabio, Loftgroover, Hype, DMS, Randall........etc......this in turn led to gigs at Busbys, The Astoria and not forgetting the legendary Orange Raves at The Hippodrome. In 1995 I was contemplating giving up Dj'ing then one of the most popular old skool promotors on the scene, Funki (Moondance, Elevation, Innovation), again someone to whom I owe a lot, gave me the opportunity to play at his most infamous event, MOONDANCE. With the resurgene of Old Skool, this was one of the biggest and most talked about raves in London, and still is to this day, so for me it was quite an honour. Since then I have had the chance to play at other events such as Raindance, Best of British, Slammin Vinyl, One Nation, Breakin Science, Rave Utopia, Promised Land, World Dance, Nu Dawn etc etc, playing old skool classics alongside some new Hardcore Breaks by the likes of Malice and Enzyme, Junki Munki ande the guys from Enormous Mouse..... I would like to send a big shout out to Funki, Chris Paul, Richard (Raindance), Ryan (Best of British), Phil Good (Promised Land) DJ Snypa, DJ Skie, Perry K, The Ratpack, Lee and my sister Becky.....and everybody else who knows me....too many to mention.

NIKI DIMENSIONS
A true old skool warrior, Niki Dimensions has a history in the underground London scene that eclipses most DJs in today’s scene. He raved at Grooverider’s seminal Rage night at Heaven, has played every where from Raindance to Camden Palace and even runs his own nu skool breakbeat night (the Vinyl Touch) with Switfy B and Andy Lock Up. Able to play everything from classic 88 house to the most cutting-edge breaks and grooves, we caught up with the talented and unsung DJ hero as he gears up for his history of house room at Tasty’s Love Muzik event….

FLIPSIDE
He started djing at the age of 15 back in 1989. Back in the mid eighties Flipside was into Hip Hop and always wanted to be a DJ. Then listening to stations such as Cyndicut, Pulse and Fantasy got him into the Hardcore scene. In 1991 he bought his 1st set of Technics 1210’s and a Phonic MRT60 mixer. The pirate stations became the main influence in his musical taste and future DJing career. As the music moved so did his taste moving through the Hardcore Scene of 1990-1993 and then into the Jungle Scene of 1993-1996. After 1996 I went back to his roots playing Hardcore from 1990-1993. Flipside has been playing at events since 1991 and still play out to this day, Check out his profile page to see where you can catch him next, you can also see past events he has played.
Flipside has also always been involved in promoting events since 1991. Events such as Bliss and History of Hardcore. History of Hardcore is his latest project which he runs with a few others, look out for this event it’s truly up and coming. He also has vast radio experience playing on many stations over the years, the favourites being Cyndicut, Plush and Force FM I also started the award winning www.remanissradio.net an Oldskool Hardcore and Jungle Station. Definitely worth checking out! Since then Flipside has moved on, now running History of Hardcore Radio, which like Remaniss in its early days goes from strength to strength. Remember, Hardcore will never die!
