Music : Jackin House, Deep House, Tech House, Hip Hop, Funk, Disco, Jazz-Funk and Soul

Shlonc will be an evening of quirky musical treats featuring the true house sound downstairs combined with funk and disco upstairs in this intimate 250 capacity venue.

Headlining our debut event will be Luke Solomon who will be taking time out from his Classic Is Your Friend tour to play a very intimate gig for the Launch of Shlonc. Luke Solomon is undeniably one of British house music's unsung heroes, with an impressive track record of underground success. From setting up the seminal label Classic Recordings with Derrick Carter to taking quirky house to the UK Top 10 and international charts, with his band Freaks, Luke has been there for many of the more interesting 4/4 moments of the last decade.

Supporting Luke are Kamo aka Niall & Liam, two Aussie brothers with a penchant for making proper late night wobbly house music. It's pretty impossible to pin down their exact sound however these guys are killing it at the moment with EPs out on Trendy Mullet, Loosing Suki and a remix of Luke Solomon's Interceptor on the legendary Classic Recordings.

Upstairs, Trendy Mullet are proud to present Idle Hands (the left one), a veteran of playing the Manchester scene and with a history of supporting the likes of Mr Scruff Idle hands is accustomed to providing an eclectic party mix of funk and soul. Playing alongside Idle Hands will be The Quirk Burglars, Ben Russell and 4 Beat Club (Soul Jay) three DJs and producers who have been with the label since it's inception just under 5 years ago.
