How many times in a year can you stay off work on a Monday twice in one month without the boss ringing you to find out where the hell you’ve gone? Well you’re in luck this month! With one glorious sunny weekend behind us already, you should have just about recovered in time for the next one…. Get in!

If you thought the last bank holiday weekend was good, you’re in for a treat with the next one, as Bish-koo returns to Gigalum once again to keep you stylish south Londonites entertained with a full night of sexy and soulful funky house, combining the best of old skool classics with the freshest new hot summer beats. Our esteemed residents will caressing the decks into action once again, ensuring that those new shoes you bought last weekend will have holes in their soles before you leave!

DJs on the night will be Get Funkts finest Andy Collings (aka PhilC), Fluid’s legendary Will Dallas and Meerkat, and Bish-koo resident Rob Couch. We also have a debut by Bish-koo’s own promoter and designer Glenn:H. Why would you want to be anywhere else?? And if that’s not enough, you’ll also be mesmerised by Bish-koo’s own percussionist extrodinaire Gareth Wax, who’s electronic drums have graced Groove Armada’s stage amongst others.

Those of you who have been to Gigalum before can testify to it’s finesse. Located right on Clapham Common, literally a stone’s throw from Clapham South tube, this glorious venue will regale you with comfy leather sofas, a massive open outdoor terrace, efficient bar staff and well-priced beverages including an impressive array of cocktails. There will be a free shooter and mix CD by our own Rob C waiting for you at the bar, all you have to do is get yourself on the guestlist by texting your full name to 07922 388 114, or by emailing your name to spiritsounds@googlemail.com.
