MOOCH!N Charity Boaty Party: “DECK-AID 2 …The Sequel!”

Party for the NSPCC with Mutiny, Raymundo Rodriguez & Jozif, the .phickle brothers, and the Moochin Allstars!

What could be better than boarding a stylish boat on the Thames on a blazing hot day, sipping a cold drink in the sunshine and dancing the night away to some quality house music from the last ten years with a great party crowd??

Throw in raising some serious dough for a worthy charity like the NSPCC and you've got yourself a perfect summer evening.

This July 7th, from 8pm, departing from Blackfriars Pier aboard the newly refurbished Golden Flame, MOOCH!N’s “DECK-AID2” is set to be another memorable night.

The charity boat party “DECK-AID” went down an absolute treat last year, with everyone chipping in we raised well over £2,000 for charity. It was such a success that this year we want to do the same, and have called in all the favours with DJs, promoters, fund-raisers and party-starters so that we can all work for this event for FREE – thus, all the profits raised will be donated straight to the NSPCC.

Now, the lowdown on the DJs who will be supporting the NSPCC, and performing on the boat ;-)

Mutiny are Rob Davy and Dylan Barnes, and together they have been at the forefront of underground house music for the last 15 years. Releases on Underwater and MAW, success with their own Sunflower Records, and remixes for Audio Bullys, Gus Gus and Chicken Lips put Mutiny right up there with the most talented and respected artists in the house music scene. www.myspace.com/mutinyuk

Raymundo Rodriguez and Jozif have been running Sunday parties in London for a long time, firstly ‘Jaded’, now also ‘Wrong’. With sheer musical talent and hard work they have established themselves as firm favourites in the London scene. With Jozif starting his own label and remixing Mike Monday, and Ray hosting regular shows on Ministry of Sound AND Galaxy digital radio, you wanna catch these guys www.myspace.com/raymundorodriguez & www.myspace.com/jozifg

Toby & Olly Phickle are true music lovers and vinyl junkies. Their passion and skills are great fun to watch, and they truly know how to rock a party (or rock a boat!). At the moment they are running a groovy little night called ‘Jërk’ and working hard inn the studio. www.myspace.com/youwantjerk

• ...and of course, the Moochin Allstar DJs will be on deck to spin some of their insanely danceable jackin house grooves, and also to get the party jumping like only Moochin knows how. This year the boat will be manned by Lee Jarvis, Mr Kimble and Greg Shaw. www.moochin.biz

The NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children; registered charity number 216401) was founded in 1884, Its aim then was to protect children from cruelty, support vulnerable families, campaign for changes to the law and raise awareness about abuse. Today, the NSPCC looks very different, but its purpose remains the same: to end cruelty to children. Since it’s formation it has helped over 10 million children, but there are still some startling facts;
• Each week one child will be killed by their parent or carer in England and Wales.
• Eighteen per cent of children experience some absence of care during childhood.
• NSPCC teams and helplines accepted more than 24,000 requests for help each year.

So, please help do your part by buying your ticket to this party and donating to a truly worthy cause. Your help and support is much appreciated. For more info on the NSPCC please go to www.nspcc.org.uk
