NYE 2007 is now just around the corner and excitement for the 1st ever Closer NYE is at fever pitch. Luke Slater and James Ruskin headline this massive 3 room techno warehouse party and if that’s not enough we have just added London Techno legend Colin Dale.

Colin Dale is a global techno legend and innovator of 25 years, a player of festivals and clubs across the world from Dance Valley and the Full Moon parties to Fabric and Pacha (Buenos Aires). Colin Dale has always stood by his musical guns. From his beginnings as a resident at the Knowledge night with Colin Faver through to his pioneering Kiss FM radio show and inspirational compilations like ‘Abstract Funk Theory’ and Abstrakt Dance label, this is a man who has techno running through his veins infused with his own special blend of machine funk.

Venue:

The venue is located underneath Canvas (formerly known as Bagleys), at ground level. The venue has 3 awesome, spacious rooms, a big covered outdoor smoking area, and a dedicated chill-out area. It also has 3 bars and a big cloakroom. We’ll be kitting out the venue with thumping, crystal-clear soundsystems, and powerful lighting. Halo and the surrounding venues are all being bulldozed after January 1st – making Closer NYE the last party at this wicked venue EVER!

The address of the venue is Goods Yard, Off York Way, London N1 0UZ. It’s 5 minutes walk north of King’s Cross Underground & National Rail station – just turn left out of the station and left again onto York Way, walk up the road and turn left AFTER the BP petrol station (onto Wharf Road), and follow the road down. Once in Goods Yard you will walk past The Cross on your left and the entrance to Halo will be signposted in front of you.
