This concept night takes place on the 1st Sat of each month.
Through DJ/VJ and live audio/visual performance, Minimalism explores seasonal ambience, atmospheres and sensibilities.
Using clips recorded with dictaphones and camcorders (amongst other means!) through the month, performers play live sessions, making live arrangements on laptops. Therefor as the seasons change and our feelings also, so will the performance and the ambience of the evening.
This series of nights take place in the concrete bar of The Hayward on the Southbank, with excellent acoustics, visuals and atmosphere. As well as a nicely stocked bar and outdoor seating.
We will be welcoming along special guests to play live electronica and visuals. You can expect some glitch, foundsounds, field recordings, microhouse grooves, dubby basslines and live sampling.

It's all free all night, so whether you want to pop in for a drink early, or late, or stay the duration, we hope to see you there at some point!
We would like to make a couple of apologies to those that came along in April/May to see dub KULT, he was unable to make it, but will be performing at this one. The visual set-up was problematic due to a nasty cold that was going around! And the soundsystem was slightly broken! The new soundsystem is to be installed for this night and we will put in extra effort to make it sound special.
