Firstly a Big Thank you to all the DJs, Clubbers, and Staff who helped make Frantic NYE 2007 another great Hard House gathering…

When we decided to put Frantic on for NYE all the usual Frantic venues like the Fridge, Koko and the Academy were booked. We decided to look high and low for a different space that would allow us to book our favourite DJs and throw one unforgettable party!

After a long search we found a place full of character behind Liverpool St Station. We then worked for many weeks to design a look and feel that would make the place come alive.

When we started the build on Saturday the space was completely empty, so we had to bring in everything from the award winning Line Array Sound to the 40 Light Effects, the Seating, the Heating, the Toilets and all the staging…We actually had 12 people work all day on NYE to set things up.

While we have already had lots of positive comments about everything from the character of the old warehouse to Mark EG and Cally’s set there are 3 things we will improve for next time:

1) The Main Room opened late. Unfortunately the Sound Company were late arriving with the final part of the sound system and this meant that they didn’t complete the set up in time. We can only apologise and will ensure that this doesn’t happen again.

2) The Toilets. We did try and book the toilets you find in the VIP area at Global and other festivals but as we were late to decide on the gig all the suppliers of Toilets had already booked out this type of Toilet. We will ensure we get these flushing toilets with running water and basins next time.

3) The Cloakroom was too small. Next time we will increase the cloakroom capacity by at least 30%.

4) The Power Cuts in the Main Room. The Main Power Cut was caused when somebody went behind the barriers and pulled the plug out of the wall. Unfortunately as it was a large venue it took our electrician time to find that this was the problem and put the plug back in. We can only apologise that something so simple interrupted your NYE partying…

Appologise to anyone who was looking foreward to some hard techy buisiness from myself! A flat tyre on the motor of my lift for the night, the luvly Miss Frisky, ment she had to find another way to get down, as did I, although unsuccesfully!

Reading through all the more recent comments there are a couple of things Id like to add:

Music Policy
We will be playing key DJs from Hard House, UK Hard Trance, European Hard Trance and Bounce at Timeless. This way there will be something for everyone. We have more rooms which makes it easier than at NYE. We will reveal the line up on Thursday.

Frantic vs Moondance
Anyone who turns up after 12 should call me on 07958 439 581 and Ill make sure they get in...

Timeless Venue
This will be revealed late this coming week. It is not a warehouse. We have not given up on doing warehouses or unusual spaces, but when we do we will rectify the mistakes we made at NYE.

Other Events this year
We are looking at a return to Brixton Academy in October.

We will be doing Koko in August BUT we will be reducing the capacity. You have my word that those of you who felt it was too busy will feel differently on August 9th.

We are also looking at 2 other very special venues...

New DJs
We will continue to support new talent like Frisky, the AudioHeadz and Vandall

me and the thirty i went out with had a top stomping time yesh there were a few issues but fuck it ive been dancing for what seems like an eternity and this one did not dissapoint, good seeing every one again

I must say what a phat night!!!!!!!!!
Few things that happened but but who cares not every night turns out 100%............... even though i thought Frantic 08 was spot on.
All the idiots slating the night need to grow up, it was a frantic hard house rave not a night at the hilton hotel so get a life and hope i dont see you twats there next time.

theres bin a lot of bollox about venue issues/toilets n a few other things, but end of day it was a WAREHOUSE PARTY! Thats the way it is, Surely we were all there for the music anyway!!

I had a quality night. Good atmosphere, quirky venue, top crowd of mates... what could spoil that?

I'm laughing at the people who think that Frantic is dead over a pulled plug and a bog roll shortage!! And to say they were ripping us off when most people got tickets for UNDER £20 for NYE!?

As with most big events found arena two had more appeal... Must say yet again that Pickup & Rise stole the show... Audio Heds also got the crowd bouncing!!

I still think it was such a great night. it was a dark and dirty rave with no boring rules!! Perfect!!

For what concerns me and my friend, the best thing was definitely Mark's set which I managed to see perfectly before the sound was really playing up, so sorry for Adam (when it was really playing up), but hey man that was an amazing effort!
