Ding ding! Ahead of Tidy & Extreme Euphoria @ Heaven on 27th April take a ringside seat as we put the CyberKitten all-stars up through their paces with a round of 10 quick fire questions. Last up are Brad Duke & Gavin MacFarlane. Place your bets now on this being a stormer of a night!

Just how excited are you both to be playing at this stellar event?

Brad Duke This is my first time at a Tidy event in the UK, let alone playing at one! I know that they’re famous for their parties, and that they ooze quality from every orifice. It’s great to be invited down with CyberKitten to support what is sure to be a stomper!

Gav McFarlane Extremely (pardon the pun) Excited! Heaven is an awesome club to which I have dreamed of playing at for a long time. Brilliant to join up on another CyberKitten Tour!

Have you played together before and what kind of set do you have planned for the CyberKitten Room?

BD I’ve had the pleasure of playing b2b with Gavin twice now – once at home in Northampton, and again for the Polysexual tour. He’s got a great sound that differs from mine, but equally suits my own style too – hard, energetic but uplifting. Fingers crossed it’ll leave ya screaming for more!

GM Brad and I have played twice before and each time we’ve really rocked it. Our styles are somewhat different but we seem to be able to blend our sounds to make a unique experience for the clubbers. We’re kicking open the gates in the CK room, can’t wait to get the party started.

In honour of Lisa Pin Up’s ‘God Save the Queen’ launch, are you wearing Red, White or Blue or going whole hog ‘flag’?!

BD I’ve got an old pair of Union Flag Boxers – do they count?!

GM Blue for definite. It’s my favourite colour.

Are you a CyberKitten Tour ‘virgin’ or ‘seasoned pro’?

BD I’ve been a CyberKitten resident for around two and a half years, so I’ve been on a number of outings. Each one manages surpasses the last, and I’m sure this will be no different!

GM I fit right in the middle. I would not class myself as a ‘seasoned pro’ as this is my second tour outing with the illustrious CyberKitten Crew.

Three words to describe the CyberKitten vibe?

BD Electric, Sexy and Addictive!

GM Unique, Colourful, Friendly

One or more, of your all time fave Tidy tracks?

BD I’m a big fan of Guyver’s productions, with his driving uplifting riffs, and Paul Maddox, whose style is techier and a bit tougher. (I’d love to get in the studio with either of them) That said I’d probably go with a proper Classic: Signum – 'Coming on strong'.

Champagne, Tequila Shooters, Pints or?

BD I’ll drink anything! Shots are a particular fave, but I’m proper getting into my Ciders and Belgian beers – ice cold and perfect for the summer.

Extreme Euphoria! What experience, past or present has made you feel this way?

BD I remember my first Creamfields, 2002. It was around midnight and Paul Van Dyk was playing in the Trance Arena - he dropped a tune he produced with Vega 4, ‘Time of our lives’. I was caught in the moment and had chills and everything. It was amazing! The funny thing is I was in a record shop a couple of weeks later, and found it on sale – one listen and I was taken straight back to Liverpool – tingles and everything.

GM Hannah – My Lucious Lady, she is my little piece of Euphoria.

Are you single and fancy free or attached and loving it?

BD Very much attached at the moment and proper loving it!

Lastly – what is the craziest piece advice you’ve been given that actually worked?

BD Wet beer glasses won’t over flow with froth when you’re pouring in a can! It deffo saves a lot of wasted beer!

GM I recently drove two tours to Austria and Switzerland. Best bit of advice: Don’t eat yellow snow!!
