THANKS EVERYONE FOR ANOTHER BLINDING NIGHT
A big thankyou to all the DJs and friends of Spin Out who came down to Herbal on saturday and made it such a brilliant night. The crowd was wicked, the music was awesome and I think its safe to say everyone had a brilliant time. A special thanks has to go to Zoelee and Joe for doing a fantastic job and preventing me from losing my mind completely!

The night got off to a shaky start when we discovered Old St tube was closed meaning our crowd would have to trek all the way from Liverpool st to get to the party. We were worried it might put some people off, but we neednt have done as we pulled in yet another capacity crowd! DKS got the night off to a great start in Room 2 with a mix of minimal house and breaks, meaning that when the Caninesounds boys went on they had a packed dancefloor firmly in the mood to 'ave it to get started on. As always they smashed it, giving the crowd exactly what they wanted and proving once again their undoubted class. Finally Jamie Gittins went on and showed the crowd what has made Filthy Gorgeous a world reknowned clubbing brand.

Downstairs things were even more intense, with 30hz getting it going with some filthy breaks and electro. Headliner Meat Katie followed him and gave his fans exactly what they had come for, breaks, tech-funk and electro of the highest order. Finally Tobias Luetzenkirchen hit the decks and played a simply awesome set of minimal techno, house and.... erm..... what can only be described as 'Trance' (although we're not calling it that!). Some spot on music from some really excellent DJ/Producers.

In the VIP Tweak and Bleep did an amazing job despite some technical difficulties early on, tearing it up with a breaks and electro-house mix which showed why these guys have been given a residency at Turnmills. Thoroughly enjoyed by all it proved to be one of the most popular rooms by the end of the night.

All in all it was a great night and has left me really looking forward to the next one on July 14th. Watch this space for more details and for news of other up-coming Spin Out events.

Nice one, Si
