For the first event of 2008 The Doctor’s Orders have invited the UK’s leading MCs to join resident Spin Doctor and a couple of his favorite DJs to kick the new year off in style.

Room one is dedicated to live PA’s from both established and rising stars of London’s burgeoning Hip-Hop scene as resident Spin Doctor & Yungun host this phenomenal array of talent. With 10 years experience Blak Twang aka Tony Rotton is a true pioneers of the UK scene and one of its leading lights. With several critically acclaimed albums and awards few artists come close to his achievements. Having wowed crowds from Camden to Cape Town tonight he will be doing so with his typically energetic set of classic material and tracks from his forthcoming “Speaking From Xperience” album.

Following the tracks laid by the likes of Tony Pyrelli has been blowing up the airwaves since the release of his debut album “Vitamin A”. With airplay from Tim Westwood and Choice Fm this young man is definitely a star on the rise having been brought to public attention by Sway Dasafo and will be showing tonight that he has the performance to back up his phenomenal recording talent.

Vision Music Promotions is fast becoming one of the real movers and shakers in the UK Urban music scene and tonight they are displaying the strength of their arsenal with a showcase featuring three of the great acts in their stable. Celebrating the release of their new single “Anathema” are trio Triple Darkness who’s conscious rhymes and lyrical skills prove why three is the magic number. IRS are a five strong south London crew who have been honing their skills up with shows up and down the country as they performed their critically acclaimed work that has not only been receiving airplay on Kiss, Ixtra, Galaxy & XFM but Mixmag who named their first EP as their Hip-Hop track of the month. Mr Drastick who has taken the US model of creating a buzz through the hand-to-hand sale of underground mixtapes. The 15,000 he shifted are testament to not only his business hustle but also his phenomenal lyrical talents.

While we are extremely excited to have such an array of vocal talents on display tonight they would struggle to display these skills with out the founding force of Hip-Hop, the DJ, and tonight we have 3 of the finest in the biz doing what they do best to make sure both floors of this brilliant club are kept bumping all night long. DJ Vadim has been creating and mixing Hip-Hop beats for longer than many have been listening to them. With an abundance of talent and vinyl he is sure to provide the perfect soundtrack to the party in room two as he and long time partner in crime Mr Thing display the fruits of their years of digging in dusty crates and scratching vinyl plates.
