Entering their 3rd year a London’s premier Hip-Hop party The Doctor’s Orders is going from strength to strength with another incredible line up of legendary Hip-Hop & Funk DJs & Collectors.

As ever the night’s tone is set by it’s power house resident Spin Doctor who brings the party each and every time he plays. He is really excited to be joined by one of his favorite producers and DJs of all time, Brooklyn’s finest DJ Evil Dee. As one of the shining lights of Hip-Hop’s mid 90’s golden era Evil Dee helped shape the sound of Hip-Hop as one half of the production due Da Beatminerz alongside his brother. As the beat smith for Black Moon he is responsible for, among many other classics, the incredible “Who Got The Props” one record that never leaves the box of any self respecting Hip-Hop DJ anywhere in the world. His skills creating soul drenched beats is respected by the greatest MCs over the years with Eminem, Big Daddy Kane, De La Soul, & Mos Def just some of the MCs to have blessed his tracks. As with so many great producers his schooling and inspiration come through his time DJing and this is certainly one art Evil Dee has not forgotten over the years with his incredible series of podcasts receiving well over 1 millions hits. This rare opportunity to hear the man do his thing live is not to be missed!

Upstairs in room 2 we are concentrating on the building blocks of Hip-Hop with some of the most respected record collectors in the world. While Kon & Amir have had an incredible underground following for years through their series of “On Track” mixtapes of original samples as used by many of the greatest producers in Hip-Hop. Their “Kings of Digging” compilation and ongoing “Off Track” series on BBE records have spread the word further of the incredible arsenal of funk, soul & Disco that make up their incredible collections. They are back for their second appearance at The Doctor’s Orders to show the latest treats their endless quest for funk has unearthed.

Joining them is one of the UK’s leading purveyors of Funk, Soul and Jazz. Jazzman Gerald started as an enthusiast of black American music with a wealth of knowledge gained through years of digging he went on to become a dealer, of records that is. From his base in Camden Market and now through his Jazzman Records he has been responsible for bringing many a forgotten dance-floor anthem to the world and where better to show these off than at the London’s funkiest floor filling night?

Warming the decks up with his stacks of rare 45’s is none other than Jimmy Dynamite the Japan native who’s quest for funk has taken him around the world ending up as a resident here in London where he is regularly found playing alongside the like of Keb Darge and other Northern Soul & Deep Funk aficionado’s.
