GREETINGS TRUE BELIEVERS

Here at Supatronix Towers we've been lining up our summer schedule, and it's looking pretty damn heavy. For those of you who have been asking, we will be holding a summer boat party this year, and we're lucky enough to have secured the services of the mighty Beat Assassins to headline. Saturday, August 1 is the date for your diary. We'll also be staging the official launch party for the new album from Finger Lickin' Records' Drumattic Twins at the end of June.

But before then, we've got a spectacular double-header for you in just a fortnight's time. This month's Supatronix will see us teaming up with east London noiseniks Upper Playground at Herbal. We'll be hosting the downstairs, with an exclusive UK launch party for breakbeat legend General Midi's new album Operation Overdrive. We've managed to get our hands on an advance copy and this is going to be the breaks event of the year for sure. Watch this space for a full interview over on our favourite breakbeat site, www.thisisbreaks.com in the next few days.

Meanwhile, upstairs sees us launching the new Supatronix bass room. Upper Playground will be debuting at Herbal with a headline set from current blogger's favourite Calvertron, bringing you plenty of upfront fidget, dubstep and ghetto bass sounds. One half of Twockers with Will Bailey, aka Bass Weazal, Calvertron is a Kiss FM and Radio One favourite and one of the top names on the super-hot fidget scene right now. Finally, this week also sees the release of the second single on Supatronix Records, featuring the absolutely massive Bleeperz, by Ashhunt, plus remixes from Lunar Shift and SupaT head honcho Jurassik.
