So there I was, having spent most of the week suffering from a dose of pre-spring flu, I was all set for a quiet night in with some DVDs and munchies.

So why? why oh why oh why did I choose 'Human Traffic' out of all the DVD's in my collection!!!

Maybe it was fate, maybe it was my subconcious saying 'No way are you staying in my son!' but by the time Jip and co were heading for the afterparty, I was on the phone to Nick for some last minute tickets!!!

So 45mins later I was meeting some old friends and new in the Rose for a cheeky pint before jumping over street to start what unfolded into a legendary night at Plushdafunk.

Got in just in time to catch Nick Hudson spin some funky latin beats as he started to wind the crowd up for the night ahead. In usual form he played out some top tunes and set me up for the night is great style. After two hours he handed off to another DJ to continue the ride.

After a bit of flitting from room to room we settled in the Purple Room and enjoyed classic after classic from Liam D as the night continued on the up and up.

By the time we hit the final hours the hardcore few were settling back in the Blue Room where the night was finished in monumental style by Shylo. I loved how each classic tune came out with little twists that made them sound so fresh!!

As well as the wonderful mix of DJ styles and rooms, what I love about Plushdafunk@Hidden after only 2 visits is the crowd! I can't remember all their names (ahem!) but I've spotted a few of em in the galleries and I'm sure we'll all be educating on the dancefloor very very soon!!

Good work fella! Really glad you enjoyed it so much...bring on Hot & Spicy and Plush Dafunk in Ibiza eh?

Was a top night, could not fault the music it was banging all the way through. Based on that and the atmosphere of the past 2 Plush da funk nights my suitcase is packed and ready for Ibiza ;) Should be an absolute blinder!

Have a good one at Brixton academy next week, shame im going to miss that one, line up looks brilliant, as i already have tickets for to 2manydjs at Canvas.. typical two cracking nights on the same saturday! Defo be at the next plush da funk party
