'TAKEOUT' This BANK HOLIDAY- Interview with RobotWon!

Jim Edmonds aka RobotWon has been tearing up dancefloors in London, Nottingham and Amsterdam in the past 12months and has built up a hardened following of disciples to his unique sonic trickery. His energetic style involves two decks, two CDjs and two effects units. The diversity of his musical influences means you are likely to hear the very best in Techno and Breaks mashed up with some AC/DC, NIN and Stevie Wonder.....

Precision Cuts __ _ ___ _ _ Diced Up!

Precision Cuts are Tam Cooper, Jem Hayes and Joe Gray. They are one of a handful of truly original Breakbeat artists. They have a sound of their own which is instantly recognisable without resorting to a “formula”. Rennie pilgrem calls the PC drum sound “the wall of drums” and you can see why. Precision Cuts are actually trying to answer the question “where does dance music go from here?”

Max Cooper in London Calling

How do you fuse together breaks, funk, house, techno, and electro? Turntablist Max Cooper manages to do this using four decks, two CD decks, two mixers, samplers, and some pretty impressive scratching. Interviews with Pete Tong, a set on Fergie's show, and recognition from Mixmag hasn't distracted this Irish DJ from a life of turntablism and a PhD. How does he do it?
