Freeformation - The Second Coming...
From as far a field as the Lake District all the way down to Portsmouth Freeformation - The Second Coming was the talk of the country and was most defiantly the only place to be on Friday night. With Legendary DJs and Producers like Kevin Energy, Sharkey, Billy Bunter, K Complex and Eryk Orpheus rocking the dance floors you just knew this night was gonna be full of non stop beats and musical delight from Hard House to Hardcore Freeformation had it all....

Arriving 20 minutes early i was pleasantly surprised to already find a queue ready and waiting for the action to begin.. After a few pre-party photos the doors were opened and the madness was to begin..

Matt Style & Andy Vinal Hard Dance

With a beer in hand i made a bee line for the hard dance room which was already pumpin out some good old NEC Classics but unfortunately due to being a guest list only event it took most of these guys set for the venue to fill out and really get rocking but the ravers that had made it through the door were loving every second...

With a quick wounder of the venue before Billy Bunter played resulted in a few chuckles with Mark Ashley wear a cowboy outfit which dare i say it actually suited him, Kevin Energy Donning a policeman's uniform equipped with blue flashing light and Sharkey wearing an Indian outfit although i think he should of been the sailor instead ;o)

Billy Bunter (Tasty Anthems) Hard Dance

With Hidden completely packed out or so it seemed, Tasty's front man graced the decks for a truly remarkable trip through all the Tasty anthems.. Was good to see so many people already on the dance at such an early point in the night the atmosphere was so friendly and Bunter hit the nail on the head with every tune pulled for his bag..

Little Gem & Cally Gage Hard Dance

The first set i was really looking forward to as Cally never does me wrong such a friendly person and first rate DJ shes at the top of her game and Friday nights set with Little Gem just blow the dance floor to pieces, was a little surprised to her 'Man On The Moon' come out of Callys bag but still a good tune none the less... Awesome set girls defiantly by far the best set I've ever heard you play..

K Complex Hard Dance

One of the few Kings of production was to follow, although I'd some how never managed to see a DJ set from K Complex, but i knew if he put as much energy into DJing as he has into the music he produces then this was gonna be something not to be missed.. Basically loved every minute of it heard some of his amazing new tunes that i can't wait to get my hands on and most defiantly broke in my new shoes on this set lol...

Kevin Energy & Marc Smith Hardcore

Can't say I'm a big fan of hardcore yet some how i got dragged into the hardcore room, but then i never could say no to a good looking lass let alone two of them so off i went and I'm glad i did i only got the last 30 minutes of there set but it wasn't any of that cheesy crap I'd come to detest i even had a good old stomp and in-case your wondering yes that was me in the NEC T-Shirt going mental dancing on the speaker :oS

Kevin Energy Hard Dance

Between 0330 and 0500 were a bit of a blur :oD the music was so good in all the rooms i was spoilt for choice... Golden hour had arrived though and although this meant there was only one precious hour left it also meant that for the next 60 minute my DJing Idol was going to send the night out with a bang... Unable to remember anything that was played in the set tells me it must of been good because i couldn't stop dancing to take note of the tunes being played :op

I sometimes think whats happened to the music that we all love so much, there are tunes out there that just sound flat, toneless and boring and i have to wonder to myself what happened to the good old days but then i have my faith restored by parties like this... Music was spot on all night there was the most amazing vibe which made this, one of the best events I've ever been to and over my 6 years of clubbing I've been to a few but this one was up there with the best of them... well done guys eagerly await the next installment.....
