I start my sets at 140 sometimes and build it up I just to god hope you dont write any tunes and expect anone to play em!

So just because you us e CDs that means you cant mix if that was the case it would be called turntabeling not mixing!!!

cdjs are a fantastic tool to push fresh new material and if a cd gets scratched you just copy it again end of! Vinyl if you scratch it have to buy another if this keeps happening its gonna cost u a fair few quid!

lol @ this topic

If you produce your own tracks, and DJ, vinyl obviously isn't an option in most cases, CDJs are great for playing your own stuff. Usual dogmatic attitudes from people who are too afraid to move with the times result in the whole hatred towards it and it's not proper DJing non-sense...You all complain that it's not "real" DJing, or it's cheating... CDJS doesn't mix for you, or make it any easier, and if people where as true to to the music as they so often claim, they simply wouldn't give a fu*k what medium it's played on as long as the music's good. I couldn't give a flying fu*k personally, if someone's gonna play a set in a club using CDJS, and provide me with some lovely fresh, new, unheard of music presented in a more personal way that ever could be done with vinyl.... then GREAT.

Being so true and passionate to the original DJing media format isn't going to make people dance in a club, or keep people interested, if you are actually bothered about the medium that much, your in the vast minority as most people won't give a fu*k.

all the way to the bank.

I do prefer vinyl but you can't turn around and say a DJ is talentless because they use CD's, it still requires some level of skill I know this as I can't mix with either.

Anyway would like to say enjoyed the set on Sunday it was cool and thanks for helping me get FP :)
