Originally inspired as a tribute party to the late great Tony de Vit, from the outset hookd has managed to attract and retain a central core of hard house enthusiasts who regularly gather without fail to party together. hookd is not trying to recreate the past, or imitate the greats that have gone before, but there is a space out there begging for hard house to fill it in order to keep the spirit alive and the hookd team are certainly coming up with the goods to raise up hard house clubbing to new heights time and time again.
Having found a permanent home at the fabulous Club Hidden, 100 Tinworth St, SE11, June 20th 2009 signals the start of a new era as hookd is now ready to throw a Saturday night house warming party from 10pm until 6am, which promises to fulfil and satisfy on every level. Club Hidden offers everything for the perfect party, including a brand new full colour/UV laser, stunning visuals, intelligent lighting, comfortable mezzanine level, covered outdoor luxury garden, two bars, and an excellent Turbosound system built around a central, open DJ box and air conditioned dance floor.
Like the crowd the music at hookd is a cohesive blend of old and new, boasting legendary residents Andy Farley, Ian M and Pete Wardman as well as showcasing newer talents such as Steve Maynard, Little Miss Natalie and Ross Homson and inviting guest Dj's including JP, Jukesy, James Naardi and a host of others all of whom bring enthusiasm, unquestionable skill and devotion to the mix.

Hookd are very proud to be hosting not one but two CD launches at the next party.
The 1st is by the newest addition to the residents team, Ross Homson, a very talented dj, who produces some very fine tracks and this release is his very first. Ross Homson is signed to Toolbox recordings and his Track is called Galvez Groove, and it’s on this new EP featuring some other tracks by the master too.
The other launch is for the new album from JP & Jukesy on Deprivation Recordings, called Hard House Volume two, Featuring two of our other residents, Pete Wardman and Andy Farley. Also on the album are JP & Jukesy, Nik Denton, Defective Audio, Jimmy Dean and Ben Townsend. Both Ross and JP & Jukesy will be playing tracks from their CD's as will Andy Farley.
