3 Bar Fire, the web’s most discerning music portal, are throwing a party with what can only be described as a killer line up.

Gucci Sound System have been rocking discotheques across the world and have recently featured on DFA with a remix of LCD Soundsystem as well as their own 12” release on the Death From Abroad offshoot. Joe Ransom's sets are packed with hot, heavy jams, road tested through his long standing Fabric residency and Kiss100 radio show. Martelo is a mashup king, Santagold’s UK tour deejay of choice and all round party starter! Playing live, Grovesnor is a combination of wonky electro, Hall & Oates and smooth 70s rock. His single ‘Nitemoves’ kicked off Hot Chip’s DJ Kicks album and he has toured extensively with the band including supporting them at their big Somerset House show last summer. The second of our coincidental Hot Chip affiliated live acts is Dels who is currently recording his debut album with Joe Goddard from the band. A single ‘Lazy’ is out now on Moshi Moshi. 3 Bar Fire’s reliable Ruffhousing and The Chief hold it all together with consummate ease.

Basically it’s going to be awesome, ok?

3 Bar Fire is a most discerning music portal presided over by the mysteriously titled Chief and Wordmaster. Its team of sharp worded music geeks are responsible for reporting daily news, reviews, features and media from around the web, inside their heads and outside the mainstream. Young but pulling no punches, 3 Bar Fire has been delivering heavy hitting music critique since summer 2007, featuring regular contributions from Wah Wah 45s Dom Servini, the buff hype 'blogstar' Slutty Fringe, rising hip hop producer The Last Skeptik, the deep beat head Buddy Peace, irreverent comment by the Ruffhousing crew, independent bias by The Leaf Library's Matt Ashton and all that’s happening with bass by Mark Gurney.
