Bellissima
well done peeps!!!

Firstly the door price was very reasonable, £10 for the first 100 people and £12 after.

wot a fab night. Having never been to Hub before, and not being a massive fan of clubbing in Croydon, I was very pleasantly surprised. Its larger than it looks from outside but is well laid out and filled up very quickly. The crowd in there were great, all nice and friendly and I never saw any trouble all night.

The boys from Bellissima did a great job. The DJs had the place bouncing with something for everyone in each room, so it was great to wonder from one room to another. Unfortunately I missed the PA from ms mckenzie, but she chatted for me for a while and was a right giggle, as was her sister. I was especially impressed by the guy on the "spanish" guitar - different and very entertaining.

But my fav room was the Anthems room. Great djs playing great choones that we know and love - I managed to catch Huck Finn, James Browne, David Charles and Andy Pollards playing his debut set - and didn't he do well! He was on first and everyone said what a great set and people were bouncing and singing along to some of our fav old skool classics.

There were plenty of seating areas to rest your weary feet and have a drink. The drinks weren't overpriced either, i found them very reasonable and the bar staff all very friendly. Also on the plus side, I never had to q for the loo, which is almost unheard of in most clubs, and they had attendants to keep them in order.

There was a small smoking area outside, which could have been bigger and improved with some proper barriers cos on a couple of occassions they fell over where there were too many people outside.

So well done to all those involved with putting on the night, Danny, Dane, James and the lovely Lucy on the door, sorry if I've left anyone out.

I'm now looking forward to the next Bellissima on the 25th.
